I got the C7 for garden clearance here in the UK, it's been such a useful bit of kit, very reliable & well built 👍

Ours is going pretty strong too! We just had a whole lot of pine trees cut down and the chipper has been put to work with all the branches 😁

Great vid as always mate.Just hang in there with regards to getting a contractor in for the tree"s.If Taupo is anything like Marlborough I beleive there's a bit slow down coming with harvesting logs as the bottom has fallen out of the market and not so many are being harvested

Yeh it was funny a day after we recorded this video we had a tree blow down in the wind (on the road) 🫣 but then we actually had two different contractors come that week and it looks like we will be able to get them down in the next few weeks! So progress finally 😁

Mate, Chelsea looked far more outdoorsy in her gear , than you did in the lovely pink shirt, lol

Aaahh... You're sorted now you've got your chipper. Those piles of branches are an awesome resource once you've got the appropriate toys on hand. We got a chipper to deal with prunings and all the branches that fall on our lawns - but it's more of an indoor chipper. Sort of a Fisher-Price My First Chipper... Anyway, the thing is, we can put a heap of branches through it - and you don't get that much mulch. Like, trees take up way more room before they are mulched. So, it's awesome that you have such a wealth of piled up branches to transform.

Yeh I think it’s going to prove quite handy, we topped up some of the mulch in our gardens and it looks good so far. It does seem to take quite a few branches to fill a trailer but we have no shortage or branches haha

can build a simple screen with some wind break cloth and a couple of posts and wrap around the trailer, but the idea of just making a decent sized pile is also good and load from there as required.

Yeh we have just been piling it up and it seems to work well, pretty loose and easy to shovel 👍

You could try getting three squares of plywood to stand at the front and sides to make the trailer sides higher this would catch most of the chippings.

That’s not a bad idea! Could even hinge them so it could be folder up! I like your thinking 👍
