Hi Friends! You know anytime the queen @LisaEldridge drops anything new I am running to pick it up and the new Baume Embrace Melting Lip Colours were no exception to that. I totally agree with your assessment of these balms! I have to reapply these WAY too often ... they just disappear off my lips, without even a specific reason for it!
I love her gloss and Luxuriously Lucent formulas!

Both colors are beautiful, but the taste is a bummer. If you’re not going completely tasteless /scentless, a lip product should be sweet or something more palatable. I love the lip products I have from Lisa, and this seems like an easy pass. Definitely appreciate your honest reviews!
I have all of Lisa’s formulas and as I told Mariam, these are the only ones that don’t dry out my lips (which are as dry as the Gobi desert no matter what I do-thanks, genetics!). I wish they were more tinted, but enjoy the 3 I purchased (Sweet Fig, Meet Cute, and Metropolis). I’ve been testing with Wherever Walnut underneath to get more depth and wearing Sweet Fig on top and that’s a real winner. The feel is so luxurious and really is the only Lisa product that doesn’t end up drying out my lips. I still love the Lucents more, as the color payoff is better, but will enjoy these until they’re used up-not sure if I would repurchase or not, but I do really like them. Thank you for sharing Mary! I agree with you though, these are surprisingly very very hydrating on the lips which is a big plus. I just wish they were a bit longer wearing but I love that they don't dry my lips out at all xx
Love the look I haven't picked these up but I have just recently purchased the westman lipstick in pique and I love it I like it so much I am going to get Lou Lou next just need to go instore to swatch it to make sure I love it...
OMG those Westman lipsticks... so good! haha I want her to expand that shade range haha xx

I love the lip velvet lipsticks and lip liners as I am more into matte and bold lip colours so these would not be something I would use or buy as too sheer for me, but I do love Lisa Eldridge as a brand. They have stalls at the space NK stores in the UK so am happy to be able to try her stuff before buying
Ohhh I am so jealous haha I am so hoping to come to London next year and when I'm there I'm praying she has another pop up store I can go to haha xx

Hi Lovely! Oh gosh, I could talk about brushes forever haha I know we talked about this on the live the other day so hopefully that vid helped. If you can afford the Rae Morris I say go for it, they are truly exceptional! Otherwise you also can't go wrong with Rephr, they are truly amazing too and then for vegan the BK Beauty and Sigma brushes are great too. Rae Morris and Rephr would be my two top picks though xx

I got all the colors as a Lisa collector plus I have super dry lips especially in the summer where it is very dry here in NoCal.
I was a bit put off by the smell at first but I have gotten used to it. I agree that some have a stronger smell than others. Will need to see if the same ones as you. Still testing them out to decide whether I like them enough to repurchase or stick to the lucents and the glosses which I love.
Very happy I got them perfect for summer looks.

I love the feeling and the finish, but I can’t wear mine because both of mine smell rancid. The closest thing I could compare the taste too is the smell/taste on envelopes when you lick them to seal them.

I was recently in London & was able to swatch these in person. Bought 2 shades & I like them but agree that her glosses are more nourishing. I may purchase more in the future if she produces more shades.
