So glad i stuck to my hill. I made a rant years ago saying how unsatisfied i was by mk11 and the nrs riders swarmed the video when i said in never buying a nrs game ever again and they tried to defend them. So glad i never bought this terrible game.
I'm just glad I found another channel that shares the same feeling of disappointment of nrs, I hope they took notes on what to do for the next game like getting John Tobias or John Vogel back as head writers bring back mk9 or mkx's gameplay no variations no kameos just 1v1 and 2v2 and most importantly more fun single player content.
I don't understand the people that say they want NRS to move on to the next game, like do you not realize they just screwed us over for the second time in a row? And some people want a third and THAT blows my mind. I agree with you on skipping anymore NRS titles since this was their last chance with me anyway since they already fumbled the final updates in MK11. Not to mention the fact that you have to be online just to unlock things from single player content. It blew my mind in MK11 and people didn't say enough so they came back with it in MK1. The community is so forgiving because they're fans of NRS and not MK at this point, me on the other hand, I can only see how far away from what made MK awesome to me they are going so I'm done✌🏿
They didn’t even have the og scorpion. They took Hanzo out & made sub zero younger brother who was the second sub zero into scorpion. The story with cyrax & Sektor is 🙄. They r just thrown in after everything went down. When their first look came out people made fun of it. They looked like wanna-be power rangers & there were people defending it saying they are cyborgs. Turn out they are not. They don’t even have Sonya blade & from how the story goes that’s not Johnny cage. I rather go back to the timeline before this where lui kang was a revenant
I bought the base game and first batch of DLC on sale(half off for everything) so when they announced KP2 I wouldn’t have bought it, but I felt generous so I bought it because I genuinely wanted to support the game I was enjoying. The FBI could NOT get me to buy the next MK. KP3 being cancelled might be the next big nail in the coffin for MK as a whole, gonna have a Midway part 2. I’d be surprised if they make another MK after the sequel to MK1. I really wanted MK to succeed, I liked the way they were introducing the game(not so much with the micro transactions) but with all the characters and story I didn’t mind, but now I’m just utterly mad and probably won’t support MK anymore. Just not worth it. EDIT: another comment: if Killer Instinct has the chance to comeback it is NOW. NRS is in deep waters and Microsoft has the chance to put Killer Instinct right back on the map, best part is: people would actually support Killer Instinct instead of MK slop.
I understand you 100%, man. I've given this game PLENTY of chances. I know I like to joke the game devs from time to time, but that's only if they mess up and it's not hate or anything. I just like you also wanted to see MK succeed, but this game is just unbearable at this point. I think they should bring John Tobias back or remaster older games for now because newer MK titles aren't doing so good anymore. Edit: And yes, a KI comeback would be dope. I would buy a series x just to play that no lie.
I got scammed! I thought I about a beloved MK franchise game.... Nah, what I did buy was a temu variant of Injustice. And, they butchered what made MK playable and inviting. Neutered down the combo system, stripped down the whole "fun aspect" of character customization. What is this barebones BS? 😂 Great video, I prefer MKX and 11. Least they were cooking then.
I think maybe the one thing that'll save this game is if they mortal Kombat versus Injustice with fatalities animalities babalities the whole deal give us the DLC we all want and let it be an interactive RPG where you can be any character anywhere in a in a universe based in mortal Kombat basically so you can run around as any character interact with other characters online and still fight and include other characters as well

For me, that was MKX. But I still understand you. MK11 was still fun to watch at the very least.
