Spencer as an additional guy who can touch the paint (without constantly turning it over), make some shots off the dribble, and playmake not only do I think he should be ahead of some guys in the rotation I expect it.

I think we should sign Jamarion Sharp just so that DLive can have games where he plays the Maxi Kleber role in the 4. With Sharp in the 5. That could achieve two things: DLive gets more 3pt attempts in-game. DLive trains his ability as a solid POA defender or at least as a stronger perimeter defender. Of course the biggest reason is having a playable 3rd center. The playoffs showed us that when Gafford is outplayed, Powell is a terrible option.

I wouldn’t be shocked if they traded Hardy away for 3/4 second round picks. Don’t want that to happen as I believe in Hardy. I think getting Spencer was smart as Kyrie we saw does pick up injuries so you got a guy who can take his place. But it also takes pressure off Hardy having to be the third guy every night. I like this, however it's not enough. If the goal is multiple championship runs then every single roster slot needs to be a contributor, kleber and Powell have to go. Aggregate them and a pick for Isaiah Stewart from Detroit. That would give you a strong pf that can spot start at 4 and 5 and gaurd 3 positions and it frees up naji to play more 3 which is more his natural position. Do not go get Morris, go get an actual player who can be serviceable in any way come playoff time. I want to see players that can actually contribute in playoff time from the top to the bottom.
Not necessarily true, look at the Boston Celtics, their bench was not the best and yet the had the talent to overrule that factor. Everybody on the mavs roster can contribute in some way.💯
Dinwiddie is not going to play guard. He is 6'6 and can play the 3 and Marshall play the 4. He is too old to be playing reserve point guard, and injuries have taken a toll on him, and he isnt as quick as he use to be. He just needs to be a spot up shooter, and allow Hardy to cook as Guard and find guys, which he was doing great for most of the playoffs. If Dinwiddie plays the 3, this is a total A+
That's what they really need another Forward. I don't hate the Spence signing as he helps lockeroom and puts some competition for Exum and Hardy not to get complacent but that is still ALOT of guards when we need big depth for rebounding

Our biggest weakness is at the 3/4, and its maxi, he isn’t a healthy player. If he’s healthy and makes shots he’s our three and D answer at the 4
PJ will slide down to the 4 to close games.
