If you love figs, this is the cake for you! This fig cake - with raisins and almonds - is super moist, not too sweet, and full of that wonderful, syrupy fig flavor.
It’s one of my favorite recipes because the cake is very delicate and it can also be made with pears or sliced apples in the fall. It’s also great for tea time too!
It's perfect for any day and any time: breakfast, brunch, snak or dinner.

Ingredients:
220 g of flour
30 g of starch
125 g of greek yogurt
125 g of brown sugar
60 ml of oil
16 g of baking powder
2 eggs
vanillin
50 g raisins
4-5 fresh figs

What kind of oil
Any kind of vegetable oil, your favorite one. I suggest not to use the Extra virgin olive oil, because it has a very strong taste. I used a sunflower one, but it's also good with coconut oil, peanut or simply olive oil.
Can I use normal sugar instead of brown sugar?
Yes, sure.
