Deadpool & Wolverine - A LOVABLE DISASTER
ฝัง

- Deadpool and Wolverine was a long time coming and while it had it's moments of enjoyment it is merely the latest in a very awful trend that's ruining the MCU which is fanservice instead of a good story as well as cameo bait and star power instead of any kind of imagination, not that Kevin Feige ever had any. In short Deadpool and Wolverine is fun but makes absolutely no sense and is a creatively bankrupt disaster.

I called him, "Channing Tat-yum"
@@anomalyinc3239👍👍👍
Things I liked: the callbacks to Fox era Marvel
Things I disliked: anything from the MCU
Channing tatum was a meta joke. He was supposed to have a movie for himself as gambit that never came to be.
That's why he says he has spent too much time in the void that practically is like he was born there, referencing how after so many rewrites & delays, the movie was never made
The return of The One And Only True Blade was the best part of the film
That was my favorite part in the movie.
I don't consider this an MCU film, but rather a Fox universe film.
Really? Everything besides the charm and love by Reynolds screams MCU. The multiverse, the editing, art style, the writing, the annoying hype and cameos etc. all screams MCU.
@@Antidoxyfuck the MCU.

I suppose I will give a tiny praise to Cassandra Nova’s actress’s casting. She actually looks like she could be James Macavoy’s sister. And I’m genuinely baffled they did this storyline of Cassandra WITHOUT Charles!
Just bring in Macavoy as one of your cameos and Cassandra MIIIIGHT go over better as a villain if you adapt her story right.
Or maybe don’t do Cassandra. Here’s a thought, bring in a certain other powerful character that has personal ties to one of the characters.
Phoenix/Jean Grey.
It would be FAR more emotional to have a Logan have to fight a corrupted variant of Jean Grey, and Deadpool could crack jokes about the love triangles in the X-men movies and how maybe third times the charm on trying to adapt the Phoenix saga because Last Stand and Dark Phoenix sucked.
The mcu killed Charles chief because they are dumb
I said as we were walking out of the theater, why the hell didn't they skip Jennifer garner and have James macavoy pop in last second because I kept expecting it. I really was disappointed.
I just want to say I respect your opinion. While I enjoyed the movie. I will admit it wasn't a perfect movie. The way I see it, this wasn't an MCU movie. This was a Marvel movie like from the FOX era. The credits even acknowledge this. Anyway, sorry you didn't like the movie. I hope you have a good day though.
Really? For me it was the most MCU ever besides the charm, love and passionate writing by Ryan Reynolds.
All of the multiverse madness, the hype and more comes directly from the MCU.
I dissagree this is multiverse of madness writing but slightly better

Deadpool and Wolverine and No Way Home are perfect examples to not use fan service. The writers use fan service way too often and ignore the large amounts of plot holes and inconsistencies!
EVERY franchise is going to have plot holes and retcons, just enjoy the ride

Ok BUT all the camoes have a role in the story and are not just there for 3 seconds. Even the Deadpool variants are there to make us laugh. Nobody is useless 🙂
The fan service in Ready player one is not good. King kong is there for 5 seconds and that's it, same for a T-rex or Tracer from Overwatch. They showed up, smile then dissapear.
Disney is legit convinced that time travel = multiverse travel; they put "the power of love" playing while Deadpool was looking for a Logan through the multiverse...and of course, the fucking Dr Strange portals, which were clearly presented as a way to travel long distances (Dr Strange, Infinity War, Endgame), but at some point they decided they are portals to travel to other universe...and that anyone can manipulate them, mind you, lets forget all the training Strange had to go through to learn how to use them.
The thing is, he wasn’t time traveling, he was multiverse traveling, not every universe runs on the same logic of time, and the TVA exists outside of time, meaning what was years for Deadpool was seconds in the TVA. As for the rings, time doesn’t exist in the Void either, meaning Nova could have had years or even decades of training to use the ring. It’s simple logic using knowledge from prior shows and movies to understand. All you need to do is watch them
Channing Tatum was originally going to play Gambit in his own movie before Disney bought Fox. He was even in a Vanity Fair cast photo for all the Fox Marvel characters. That’s why he keeps talking about making a name for himself or he didn’t get a chance to do some thing. Hope that helps. I had no idea until I found about it on X. Then it all made sense to me why he kept saying stuff like that.

Overall my feelings towards DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE are the same as Red VS Blue Restoration:

I personally dislike the Deadpool films (possible exception of the first), but I was dragged in by a friend. She ended up bothered by it possibly even more than myself. Complete waste of money to go and get a constant stream of Xbox-tier humor, a ton of unbelievable plot points (like why in the world would an invincible person go into selling second-hand cars instead of working as a bodyguard or bouncer for some lucrative cash?), and countless bodies hitting the ground being counted as JOKES. Every "Disney" or "Marvel" jobs got signed off on by execs because those jokes make money - not a single one of those jokes would have surprised anyone in Disney or Marvel.
Sure, half my criticisms for the film(s) come down to taste. But I've seen too many people say they loved that Deadpool made fun of Disney... being completely oblivious to the fact that if it made them bucketloads of money, the Disney execs themselves would do stand-up comedy about Disney.
I personally dont like the humor either raunchy jokes and sex jokes arent my thing

21:19 Dude, let's not forget that Disney likes to pander wokeness & progresism, yet they have 0 hesitation on RACESWAPPING & GENDERSWAPPING TASKMASTER (one of Marvel's most prominent Gay & Mexican characters)
Bro the Seinfeld cameos get me every time . When he said the story one with costanza I was dead 💀😂
Flawed but entertaining. The bit with Tyler Mane as Sabertooth was disappointing. The trailer made it look like a battle you don't want to miss. You could have given him at least a 1-minute fight scene and then end it the same way. It would have been funny if Juggernaut said, "I'm not Vinnie Jones, b**ch!". Matthew McConaughey doing the voice for Cowboypool made me chuckle.
Reynolds lampshaded how important that fight was when he was pulling his weapons out of Hugh... so it was absolutely intentional that they made the fight suck. If they had made S have a great fight against W, it would have lessened how impressive it was when DP fights him, so instead of giving the awesome fight that fans wanted, they "subverted expectations" and tried to make it funny through irony by talking it up before they engage. And it didn't work.
In defense.
Tyler Mane is an 50 somethin’ year old man probably with bad Knees and they’d probably have to CG the shit out of a big fight with the two.
The only things that I liked from this film is:
-Seeing Blade and Laura/X-23 again.
-The Cavillrine.
-Dogpool(I like dogs).
-Ryan Reynolds love for the Deadpool character and actually respecting it despite Kevin Feige consistently getting in the way.
-Blake Lively and several of the daughters got to play variants of Deadpool(Lady Deadpool, Kidpool and Babypool).
-R rated is what was needed the most and we need more of that.
The things I hated about this film:
-Digging up the grave of Logan for that is on both Kevin Feige and Ryan Reynolds for not having enough respect to leave that alone.
-The TVA(F*CK THOSE GUYS!!!!!).
-The Multiverse as a whole.
-Plot holes and inconsistencies up the yin-yang along with no stakes.
-Kevin Feige's fragile ego getting the better of him yet again when it comes to characters that he didn't create in his own cinematic universe and so he kills them in the most brutal/disrespectful way.
Conclusion is that DP/W will not save the MCU and Disney will continue to lose more money and its stocks will drop until they are on their hands and knees begging us to come back and we will say to Kevin Feige to literally GO F*CK HIMSELF!!!!!!!
Halle Berry wanted to return as Storm, but Ryan Reynolds never called her.
😂
Seriously?
Who cares she got enough in Last Stand.
She got too much in Last Stand! Never again!
Probably because other people have plans to bring her back in a different film.
Source?
After DP2, the activists scolded Reynolds for "fridging" Vanessa (he's talked in interviews about how he learned that it was bad, sexist, etc SJW BS)... and even though that's NOT what he did, the backlash obviously affected him... so in D3, in order to "empower" Vanessa and avoid being accused of fridging her again, he came up with the stupid garbage where he becomes the worst possible man he could be and she dumps him and becomes a middle management Girlboss and starts screwing guys from work... so now the relationship is irreparable in the eyes of most fans, no matter what any future movies might portray with them getting back together. And that's saying a lot, considering that she was a literal prostitute... but that didn't matter after she left hooking to be with him... however, once she left him and started sleeping with other guys again, she's done, it's finished, that character is dead to us, at least as far as being a "romantic interest" goes. Reynolds destroyed DP's love interest, the most important relationship, the most important supporting character, the heart and soul of the series, because of pressure from SJWs.
That made no sense. She stood by him through cancer, she stood by him after she was kidnapped by Francis, she wanted a baby with him even after all that chaos, but now they wanna tell me they broke up?
I think they just needed to give him motivation and needed a reason for why she was out of the picture to have DP and Wolvie together the entire time. Hell, ALL the DP crew is sidelined in this.
That is wild if that's true, I didn't think Reynolds would be the type to stick it to corpos but buckle to sjws, while Deadpool and Wolverine was a fun movie, easily the weakest of the trilogy and the shafting of Vanessa was my biggest gripe personally, it just spits in the face of ALL of what the last two movies were about, the reason Deadpool did 90% of the shit he did in those movies was because of Vanessa and yeah I hope she gets benched from here on out. There is nothing else you can do with her, I know she was a villain in the Deadpool comics but nah, nothing they can do with her.

I like the movie; it has excellent action, humor and music. The cameos are funny. The villain was intimidating and had cool powers.
My only issue was the calm moments. I wished they were a little longer! The discussion between Laura and Logan or the one between Wade and him at the restaurant; if they lasted 4 more minutes that would be nice; developped more their friendship too. The rest was great though.
I had a fun time seeing the movie in cinema and the people in the room too, they even applause at the end. It's an 8|10 for me. I will definitely rewatch it again 😄

I SCREAMED when Wesley snipes showed up I was SO excited!!! Especially when he said he was the only blade. I was so happy to see Laura as well, I had no idea she was going to be in it.
I knew it! I had a feeling it was going to be another Spider-Man: No Way Home. The "A Lovable Disaster" for the video title pretty much confirmed it. Yeah, I thought it was going to be one of those entertaining/fun movie with cameos and nostalgia, just without enough substance to it.
I've been through with Disney and any company under Disney and I want to make very few exceptions to that. Movies like these is just helping me make sure I don't make those exceptions so easily. I saw the red flags (or maybe it was deja vu) with Deadpool & Wolverine and was able to resist it harder just knowing in my gut I'm seeing a repeat of Spider-Man: No Way Home. I don't really care about it being a merely "fun" movie, I wanted something more where I would be willing to make an exception and deem it worthy of giving it a chance but it failed there.
Love the video and great to see you out of hibernation. Love the brutal honesty and you talking about stuff you want to talk about is why I'm subscribed to the channel.
The movie itself although imo was unnecessary, i really don’t have an opinion on it of being either good or bad, heck movies nowadays lost its charm for a while.
But what I would say is when I watched your video on “Warner brothers causing the DCEU downfall”, I really resonated with your style and personality when watching that video. The details and sources you cooked up with the script. Some of which I can agree to disagree but most of it I can agree. It’s a bit different than most TH-camrs nowadays. And different is better than the same boring slop nowadays. So I just came here to give you a compliment for that.

Channing Tatum has been wanting to and has been trying to play Gambit for years. He was in the film because Reynolds wanted to cast him because he also never got the chance to play his favorite Marvel character until he was given the proper chance. He wasn't just in the film because he's "Channing Tatum." There is a history there. Side note, he killed it.
Deadpool and Wolverine is the perfect comic book and action movie. It's not high art for movie snobs, it's just pure entertainment for people who like comic books. It's for the people who enjoyed the older X-Men animated series, who may also read the X-Men and Wolverine comics, and who also watched most of the Fox Marvel movies. It's R Rated also, so for those who enjoy more edgier jokes w/ uncensored cursing and violence, this is for those type of people. I enjoyed the fanservice and cameos, and special guest stars. I really enjoyed the comic book references, and I enjoyed the choice in music. If you like action packed video games and martial arts, you should enjoy this film too. Again it's no high art comic book masterpiece and no comic book movie should ever need to be those kinds of movies.

Exactly, I had the same issues with this film. I still enjoy the cameos, easter eggs, an nostalgia trip, but when you step back and use your brain the story doesn't work and really should not have happened. The 3rd deadpool film should've been him unaliving the MCU just like the comic. Where his mind broke and he decided to just end everyone from the avengers, X-men, fatastic 4, and then even going after cosmic beings and gods. Ultimately ending with him teleporting beyond the fourth wall and ending the comic writers and artists. Imagine if they did that instead. They could've rebooted everything after that, instead they still want to go forward with Secret Wars and you can better dollars to donuts that film is just gonna be another nostalgic cameo f#%&fest who's story is nonsensical and non-existant. Make it stop, the garbage stings my eyes. 🤔😐😬🤦
I disagree about Channing Tatum in a way. Many people have been wanting him to play as Gambit so it's more fanservice than anything.
I mean it worked I mean people want more and heck I loved it too. He's like one of my favorite X-Men as well.
Yeah I know the canceled Gambit movie was more obscure compared to the other cameos but I wouldn’t dismiss him just for being “an obligatory A Lister.” I actually think the Origins Gambit wasn’t too bad but I get why they went this route.
Hoo boy, imagine his thoughts on acolyte
Not what I was expecting you to post but I’m down to watch someone tear this movie to shreds. Watching people blindly praising this movie not realizing it goes against the entire point of movies! They’re supposed to be an art form not pandering products designed to entice audience goers
It's like the spider-verse "Canon Event' all over again, which now even makes less sense (how the fuck do you do that, Marvel?), because wouldn't Deadpool and Wolverine's actions cause the universes to collapse. Also, why the fuck weren't the multiverse police notified about Miles' actions? GOD, MY BRAIN IS IN A SUPERNOVA!
Despite being the weakest of the Deadpool movies, I still enjoyed it and made a video reviewing the film, though I wasn't as negative. The fanservice felt overblown, and the unnecessary jab at Daredevil bothered me because while the theatrical cut isn't well liked, the director's cut vastly improved the movie's reception. Some of the fanservice I did enjoy, like Blade’s cameo and Dafne Keen returning as Laura, were highlights. I also liked seeing Wade's original cast of friends, even though their screen time was too short, which is another criticism. The off-screen breakup between Vanessa and Wade felt completely unnecessary, especially since they reunite by the end. However, I appreciated that, unlike Wanda, the main villainess wasn't portrayed as a tragic figure but was unapologetically evil.
One thing I really appreciated was that the movie didn't have a post-credit scene teasing another upcoming "MCU" film which was a huge relief. I’ve promised myself that this will be the last "MCU" movie I ever watch, and it's kind of fitting since it's also the end of the Fox X-Men franchise. In a way, it feels like both things coming to a close at once, and I'll stick to that promise. All in all, I have my criticisms, but I enjoyed it enough to buy the home release. Still, I think we can all agree it's a much better closure to the Fox X-Men franchise than Dark Phoenix.
Actually, the gambit reference makes a lot of sense originally he was supposed to play him, but he got cut out and instead replaced with someone else
it was a really fun movie end of story i dont care about mcu or marvel anymore but it was fun to watch
I thought the movie was AMAZING! Though yeah the Logan thing was confusing as Hell. It’s what I find to be the biggest problem with the film. And even given my enjoyment of the film I am under no illusion that this film will save the MCU, No Way Home was the exact same thing! It came out around a rough point of MCU wasn’t crazed W0kE filth and gave characters we haven’t seen in years a proper finale, and it was a huge hit that Fans (The real ones) Legitimately enjoyed! And rather than Disney going “Well damn.. If that’s all it takes let’s keep doing that!” They went right back to digging themselves to the ground! Deadguy and Wolveguy did fantastic and Comic Con almost kept it sheltered! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! THE BIGGEST HIT YOUVE HAD IN YEARS, THE FIRST R RATED FILM YOU MADE THAT KILLED THE JOKER (another movie I enjoy) AND DID NOTHIN’ WITH IT!? Downey ain’t gonna save shit I promise ya!

Oh bot I loved this one, unironically one of the only movies i've seen this year that I unironically loved. It's was a pure love letter to the early 20's experimental age of comic book movies, and you could just feel the passion that dripped from this movie.
But it isn't perfect. It's a little long. The jokes didn't feel as sharp as they could have been, especially with all of the recent Marvel failures they could easily dunk on. The M-SHE-U is prime red meat, but hopefully that's in an extended edition. The opening fight was awesome, but I don't think i needed to see literally every freaking bone used so it dragged a little. And of course the plot is basically nonexistent. I liked the cameos, and other characters, but Saber Tooth was wasted, and I would have liked to have seen some more of the early X-men 1-3 villains. Maybe throw in a cocne vampire from Blade, or some ninjas from Dare Devil.
I watched this movie in theaters because thought it was going to be the best MCU film since Spider-Man: No Way Home. Ironically, both movies have similar issues that have been pointed out on this video, but they were peak 🍿thrill ride for me. Even after watching this video, in spite of both films problems they share, I still want to like these movies. However, I can totally agree that MCU She-Hulk was an utter 🗑 🔥.
I’m glad I didn’t watch this mess it’s proves Disney Marvel really doesn’t know what they are doing with this multiverse garbage.
The multiverse in DC comics and Marvel comics existed since they first published and printed comics, so if you hate the multiverse so much then you shouldn't buy any comics or manga at all.
Literature too
14:53 In the immortal words of Deadpool, "You shut your goddamn trash mouth." Similar to what Blade did for you, Jennifer Garner's Elektra was the cameo that had me the most excited about seeing since I love the 2003 Daredevil film. While that movie wasn't the best superhero movie Marvel put out (although, that movie is leaps and bounds better than pretty much all of Phase 4 & 5, especially the director's cut, which helped redeem that movie), Jennifer Garner's portrayal of Elektra was one of the only few wins that movie had over the far, far, far superior Netflix series version played by Elode Yung, since she acted really out of character that it's in insult to the Elektra character.
But aside from that, good review on this movie. There's a lot of issues I had with this movie that you highlighted, as well as presenting issues I hadn't thought of. It's good to highlight why this movie isn't as good as people are making this out to be. For me, this definitely falls into the "It's so bad, it's good" kind of movie.
New upload finally!!
16:16 I knew you were gonna play that black ops track lol
I didn't really expect anything from this movie I don't watch marvel movies but I went to see this one for Hugh Jackman but I was worried they were gonna make a cuck version of wolverine and when they said he's the worse version of wolverine in the movie I was thinking "yeah here it comes" but was surprised to see he wasn't I was even more surprised at blade and human torch I didn't watch anything Deadpool cause I don't really care for that character so I had no idea, something that kept kinda bothering us that there's no damage to the costumes in the first half of the movie, all the stabs , slashes and gunshots and all you see it cgi blood coming out and no sign of damage on the costumes, not a big deal but I just couldn't stop thinking about it while watching
Glad to see you back, dude!
I just love that marvel has become self aware to the point of shitting on their own incompetence. Truly deadpool move. And yes, they will milk Hugh and RDJ till they are 90 and beyond (AI maybe)
0:52 the movie explains it takes a considerable amoujnt of time for a universe to die after it's Anchor being dies, Paradox was just speeding up the process.
Logan hadn't died yet because they stupidly made Deadpool 3 take place in 2024 also Anchor beings as a concept are utter garbage
I wasn't going to watch it because it's Disney.
I dont blame you at all😂
They made bank so 🤷🏽♂️
@@choppabrown3741 Good for them, I didn't pay for it.
Channing Tatum is a meta joke, he had a deal with fox to produce a Gambit movie way back when but it never ended up happening. Its honestly the perfect cameo for this film
Give this man some comment love before it gets copy-striked to oblivion.

@@mr.nakamura9088 you're very welcome and cheers 🍻
HE'S BACK! This movie feels like a NWH type of movie form what i have herd. it is lovable and enjoyable, but by no means perfect and you really have to overlook some glaring errors continuity if you want some things to make sense. Doesn't mean you can't enjoy it, but doesn't mean its perfect. I love Across the Spider Verse but your video definitely pointed out some stuff that (while the second film could solve) are holes worth pointing nonetheless. Heck that film could have been made better imo if they just said that that version of miles, not Miles as a character, wasn't supposed to be Spiderman, but I digress as this is a Deadpool and Wolverine review. Still wan tot go watch it myself, and as someone who hasn't seen the previous films, I wonder how it will be going back to watch those after.
Also any thoughts on the Avatar Fire and Ash announcement? Looking forward to that. Played a bit of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora too and its pretty good imo.
Hheeeeey your back. I missed you. I havent watched This movie but got context alrdy. Deadpool always had rushed writing to be fair. I am sure your correct. I mean Deadpool is a quick wild card to test writing. Am i wrong? The reverse The common writing tropes to get wrong information to test where your going wrong.
I hate the Rated R crap this movie gas personally.
Swearing, nudity(previous Deadpool) Gore. Really did repel me. I wish there was a Dual cut of the movie. R is Definitive version. Pg13 is Shorthand. Fair?
W video my friend! Keep them coming👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Quick note: I'm glad I decided to see Twisters in the theater as opposed to this.
I'll still see this film when I can, but NOT in the theater, and ONLY for free.
@@tyrannozilla you are granted the rank of master
@@anomalyinc3239 "Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen" (Palpatine, 1983).
Seriously, though, man, thank you for this glorious occasion.
I also genuinely recommend Twisters when you get the chance, as it is quite respectful to the original film, while also being a standalone film in its own right.
Blade appearing was by far the best surprise. I don'y mind the humor because it's Deadpool but the multiverse is gay and this Deadpool had no real plot unlike the previous installations.
Mangold was being extremely full of sh*t... because Logan was COMPLETELY dependent on "multi-movie storytelling" ... it would not have had the emotional impact that it had if our first and only exposure to Charles and Logan were in that movie. The entire reason that every single emotional beat in that movie was effective... was because of all of the previous movies that established those characters. Nobody would have cared about how decrepit Charles and Logan were, would have been heartbroken by their tragic circumstances and physical conditions, if not for knowing how great they were before. I could write pages about how the backstory was necessary for us to be affected by the revelation that Charles had killed the team by having a seizure, how Logan's procedures and attitude in earlier movies were required watching to understand how horrible it was that they did it to Laua, and on and on with every single aspect of the movie and how it was fully dependent on previous movies in order to move us. Even the stupid Adamantium bullet that saved the day was set up in a previous movie that established how meaningful that bullet was to Logan and established that it can penetrate his skull, and that's the weakest example of the hundreds I can list off the top of my head. His argument was BS... and he was arguing against "multi-movie storytelling" when he explained his position, not just "multiverse movies." We all hate multiverse movies.
Ryan Reynolds, at the very least, said this movie's plot was paper thin.
Also, Nomz, I'm not sure if you know who the actual main villain of the movie is: it's DISNEY. It's Disney for killing Fox.
The movie even takes jabs at the political agendas, and even the whole multiverse gimmick with how Marvel hasn't used it properly, which is partially why everything has gone downhill since *_Endgame._*
Also, who would've thought that the last words said in a Disney film would be, "Gotcha, fuckface." 😂😂😂
Yeah that’s what my Brother (Who didn’t like the film all that much) was able to tell. The TVA is definitely an analogy for Disney in this movie. AND Deadpool not mattering is Meta on how he was treated before Fox got bought out. THINK ABOUT IT!
Origins.
The original Test getting Rejected.
Fox constantly cutting the budget for the first movie.
And the fact the first two movies were beloved and just better. In spite of that Fox seemed to want to keep it separate so they could headline THE NEW X-MEN PREQUEL UNIVERSE! Which sucked major league Bawlz (But ya don’t need me to tell you that!)
So Deadguy wanting to matter feels like commentary on that, and the fact that literally no one else from the X-men universe is treated to matter except for Logan reinforces that cause Fox would just shove his face into anything hoping to god it would make it some what likable…
Yeah, glad I’m not the only one who thought the timing on that post credit scene was good with Deadpool saying that, immediately followed by “distributed by Walt Disney Studios”
Glad I skipped the movie. It was actually Deadpool 2 that made me realize how hollow these movies felt
Deadpool 2 was actually alright except for the obnoxious fat kid
Welcome back bro love your marvel vids
