Yeah I tend to watch many Vblogs about Singapore visits. But I did not watch those of other countries. It is like want to know how foreigners felt about our country.

I stayed in Singapore for 3 weeks and got pretty much familiar with the mode of transportation quickly for a person who was travelled for the first time alone. I love Singapore. I can't wait to go back. :)
I love to ride on a Bus with double Deck, so you can see things, in the MRT (Subway) you are just in a tube. and Bus is also cheap (if I compare it to DE)
are you kidding? this guy does nothing than filming himself and talking your ears of. there are some thousand much better videos about Singapore on TH-cam. open up your eyes
MRTs are great there, but there is a bus stop on virtually every corner. How he can pass over using the busses over taxis is amazing to me. I take the bus to the MRT and it works fantastic. Love Singapore.
Singlish is English with a mix of the different official languages of the country. It doesn't just add a lot of Chinese words. Other languages also come into play. The example you use (the particle -lah) is grammatically accurate in Malay, by the way. The Indian language? Tamil. We love our languages and our people.
I'm from Costa Rica and I love when I find videos of people talking wonders about this country. It really fill us with joy knowing somebody enjoys it so much visiting this places. Thank you very much for this amazing video.
We went to Singapore in 2018. Your videos were part of our research. We didn't follow ALL your advice, we are a bit adventurous, but you were definitely a great resource!
I just got back from Singapore, Lovely country. It is not as hot as I anticipated. It was quite pleasant. The subway is awesome and everywhere is very safe. I did jaywalk on empty streets so it wasn't terribly strict, but eating food on the subway is a big no no. Ubers are also very good.
You should put a little more emphasis on the temperature itself rather than "it's pretty hot". I'm from a tropical country, so I was kinda expecting a 40° ~ 50° hot, and if Google isn't lying, Singapore is like 25° ~ 30° basically all year, which for me is pretty comfortable. But other than that, that's a pretty informative video :)
Singlish is just like all the four languages combined 😂😂 for Taxis, there's different colours which represent like how much they charge. Usually the blue and yellow ones can give you a good deal, usually cheap around 7 to 10 dollars. Silver, black and white are usually "express" which you'd pay more. Not big of a change with the taxis, just the price rates. Also you'll get lucky if you have an uncle driver, they're the best talkers! Can tell you where the good places to eat and short cuts you can travel too!
Great presentation. Not only very informative but we can all understand you. I appreciate people that try to help buy posting a very mature videos but if they fumble, speak insufficient English , get the process wrong and start again... OMG. One flicks TH-cam off and decides not to bother. Thank goodness I gave it another go and found your video. Good job and thanks.
These are some great tips! They are definitely helpful for anyone who plans to travel to Singapore. I'll keep these in mind if I decide to go to Singapore someday!
Never, never carry drugs with you. You will be warned during your flight when touched down in Singapore. A small amount of heroin (15 g) can get you the death sentence. 2g can be considered as trafficking.
The heat and humidity definitely is bummer for me. Everything else about Singapore, the people, the food, the education and the tourist attractions are phenomenal though.
@@JackandGabExplore doesn't really matter, the weather is more or less the same every day of the year: very hot, very humid, probably some rain. That's the only real downside of Singapore, everything else is great, especially the food.
This guy is good he from Australia he love the foods in. Singapore he don,t get this kind of foods back home thank you for sharing your sweet healthy foods thank you for sharing Bless you.
yaaay love you Yellow prods., I watch you from France and Australia, and I think your videos are the best, I watch them everytime I travel ! Also I love Singapore 🙄

Dude !!!! You are God Sent! I am planning to head to Singapore 🇸🇬 and I love your videos !!! You are awesome! 👍🏽 ☺... You need to do more videos! Your a natural !!!
Something to note about credit cards. Bring a MasterCard. They don't accept the other types at many locations due to some law requirement with card security and the machine for swiping. Taxi driver at airport explained that to me when I asked why a lot of places don't accept visa and other cards.
Not quite correct. Visa is not accepted in taxis because Visa tried to stop the taxi companies from charging that 10% surcharge (which would be illegal in the EU), and yanked out that payment option when the taxi companies refused to relent. Otherwise, visa is accepted in most places which accept mastercards. Just be cautious about Amex, which is not as popular. Finally, the ez-link card used for public transport can be used in taxis too, but there is a $0.30 surcharge.
Thank you for sharing your video, it was very helpful. I have been to Singapore about 9 times from The UK but I still learnt a lot from you. We also love Orchard road for the shopping including the Lucky Plaza where things are very inexpensive and a fascinating experience.
There are places in Singapore which are known for better exchange rate like The Arcade @ Raffles Place ( for Euro and USD ) , People's Park Complex in Chinatown ( for Asian countries ). These buildings usually have tons of money changers so it would be better for travelers to compare there.
Visited more than 10 times to singapore. I love this country cos very safe, easy transportation and beautiful places to vst and their culture. Vstg again nx wk
Just got back from a trip. Your observations and tips are pretty accurate and spot on 😊 Oh. The fourth language is Tamil. It would have been nicer if you had been specific.
Hello. I do agree with you regarding not exchanging money at the airport. Often airport anywhere in the world give about five cents off the value. Orchard road also gives a slightly lower rate than other exchange shops in sg. However, most exchange money shops in sg give a high rate compared to any bank in the world. Often the rate is higher than western union or the same. I mention western union as western union does give at least 2-3 cents higher than any western bank. Plus when using a bank atm, you are charged fees. Normally there are two fees, 1. the international bank fee and 2. A fee by your bank. Normally is about 20 dollars and low rate. I am aware there are ways around this but for the majority people simply use their atm card. My strong advice to anyone traveling is to simply exchange at a money changer. The exchange rate is clearly visible for you. If u have no cash for whatever mishap, can simply western union yourself. There is a fee but that fee is lower than any bank and exchange much higher than any bank.
Sometimes rain is our worst enemy, cuz short showers brings the heat off the ground into the air, making it even hotter. 😦 Tap water is drinkable, if in dire situations, but there's pretty much water coolers (where you can drink from) everywhere near tourists spots 😉 Dont forget to bring a bottle of water around.
It should be a 50% surcharge not 50cents. Also, Uber is quite cheap here, especially with UberPool, but we do have this app called Grab you might want to check out, many Southeast Asian cities use Grab, its sorta like the Uber of ASEAN.
not to mention, if you rather be in a taxi, Grab is the easiest way to get a taxi. But they do also have pooling options and uber-like private car options as well.
+Farouq Evans You're right.. I MEANT to say 50 percent.. apparently what I meant to say isn't what actually came out of my mouth :) I'll check out Grab next time.

Jay walking is actually illegal but many of us still do it but I recommend using traffic light or underpass, overhead bridge or zebra crossing
tbh never jaywalk cuz people never know if they get hit by a car
when u go sg use grab NOT uber

should be cheaper than banks, scout around.
Usually locals would check rates everyday around those places before exchanging. And rates are better on weekdays than weekends.
