      @@erclsr tried to do with back but their always well warmed up during my push days. Traps are definitely overdeveloped compared to the shoulder heads

    Those shoulders are legit monstrous. I like those rear delt cable cross overs you don’t see those very often I’m going to incorporate those.

    I've been doing shoulder presses on my power squat for years as a substitute for scrape the rack press in your programs lol! Also, nice to see someone else working out in a non Air-conditioned metal gym....it's hot here in Bama lol!

    Shoulders this morning, but this gold'll keep a few days - def trying those crossover rear delt variations. My gym has a viking press attachment - put your bar in a landmine and go to it. Hits all 3 delt heads, plus upper chest and traps. I think a lot of open competitors are glad Shaun's in 212. Dude's kinda thick.

    Figures now John isn't doing rears first. Ever since he "yelled at me", they go first. :) guess I'll be 8 million lat raises for funzies tomorrow. Wonder how many I'll actually get

      So.. I did those 8 million lat raises, rear delts and what I could of db viking presses. It was awesome!! I discovered that my left arm does not press straight. Explains a lot.

    Shoulders is that one body part I can't seem to really nail the mind-muscle connection. Not sure if I'm going too heavy and not really using the muscle, or maybe too light and not activating my strength enough. But I keep tweaking! I'll have a day every once in a while where I'm super sore from a shoulder workout, which probably means it's working.

      Yep same here! Some days I feel like I'm killing shoulders and I don't feel any burn afterwards. Other days I'm tired and half ass it, but it burns like crazy

    Hey john any recommendations for nerve pain when doing lateral delt flys. The back of my wrist hurts and i nearly drop the weight after a few sets. I watched your video on tendinitis and i took time off until it went away but it keeps coming back. Is there something i can do with grip size, wraps, etc?

      You need to just work through tendinitis. If you treat it with rest it comes back. Eventually it goes away if you are able to work through it. Do a little of whatever bothers it 4 or 5 days a week.

      Resistance is resistance. If your bands are strong enough to work you, then hit it. Do it and work hard.

      You just have to find your groove and learn how to keep your traps and back out of it. Look up some of Doug Brignole's stuff on rear delts where he explains the anatomical mechanics of the rear delt. (I'm not saying you need to follow Brignole's training methods, but he does a great job of explaining anatomy and correct movement)

    Hello gents yes wee have one of those standing presses at one of my gyms however any one with lower back issues this ex cerise wood not be recommended. Take it easy rest easy 👍

      I think by doing those last they can get away with lighter weights and still roast the shoulders without taxing the lower back.
