meatlantern don is easily one of the best IDs out there in terms of what she provides for her archetype. She might not be able to win every clash, but she can sure tank enough one-sided attacks to make sure that doesn't matter.

@@Radiance_Buer I would even argue that deici Rodion doesn’t provide anything for sinking, it’s all in her s3 and rimeshank. Not to say she isn’t a great generic unit, of course, but she isn’t sinking positive on all of her skills like don is for rupture.

For reference, Self Destructive Purge, Rip Space and DDEDR are all around the 90-100 damage range at best, Zweimael hits harder every single time lmao. Also that's not taking into account stuff like LCB Rodion passive which Mael can make use for because she has so much HP but the others can't because they are made of wet paper tissue.
For any readers, dont forget you can double stagger the boss by staggering it with damage and then on the next turn killing the last protection minion(s) while dealing dmg to her. Killing the last minion staggers her.
if you want a true solo and let xichun die, you can also use cinq don lol. let xichun tank the first few hits while you farm sp, and just evade any unbreakable coin dulcinea throws at you. clash the counter and ignore the buffs, clash with the minions, and use base ego to heal (use it on staggered mobs for 50 hp heal per ego). sooner or later she just dies. she also cannot roll heads due to cinq don's evade draining 3 sp on evade, making her 3 coin finale skill look like a joke since you can just evade it

Walpugis don passive is underrated lol, she is technically one of the shi id. Gain clash power when hp goes 50% so she will never lose at low hp. Then cannot die because can recover her own hp.
This strategy doesnt work for me right now,the bleed during stagger phases overpowers my don heal and i just lose around the 3rd or 4th stagger. Am i just missing something and if so what is it? It does. It deals unaspected damage (no sin affinity like Sinking Damage) on hit and enemies so far doesn't come with Rupture protection (bleed does the same kind of true damage on attack rolls but Bloodfiends take reduced damage from Bleed so it can be resisted somewhat now)
Kinda scared of what's gonna happen when rupture gets too much support since it just deletes bosses. PM might do some indirect nerfs that might hit the other statuses as collateral.
Gonna start seeing bosses with "Takes 50% less damage from Status" or "Rupture damage is dealt as (Insert Affinity Here) damage instead" passives, like how every boss is just contractually immune to Echoes of the Manor now.

I deliberately keep my sinners underlevelled so it's a bit more interesting. I also took a while (my sinners taking chip damage the entire time) due to me not properly understanding the fight. I read the passives, just not all of them were visible and I also didn't realise the trick was to stagger the enemies she buffs so that the buffs go to waste, and instead spent a bunch of time clashing on Dulcina.
i brought lantern don (support, at lv 50 ut4), she barely survived vro!! bc at the end SOMEHOW dulcinea inflicted **51** bleed, and she lived with 16 after having 100+ hp (200-130)
