    Saw Johnny Winter open for George Thorogood in the 80's. 20ft. from the stage, I was blown away!
    After that it was like "George who?", shoulda went home and not bothered staying to see him...

      And if you could’ve went backstage after the show you would’ve seen Johnny giving George guitar lessons!

    Greg is surely one of my fave Guitar Demo Comedians ... are there any others? I think not ... that would be weird! It's one thing to give lessons on Guitar, but portals open to the Fret Lords when Guitar lessons are given on a FIRE-BIRD!

    What a grand tonal lustre Herr Koch draws from the aether. Words are to blunt a device,, just listen and repeat.

      Todd Flowers well he gets up early I would imagine. That is the Darkside of rock 'n' roll… The very working class practice schedule of they that do not suck at what they do in the playing of music.

    He explains these licks faster than he is playing them ....... Kochery - can you say TOO MUCH COFFEE?! Probably better than disco bisuits and the marching powder, that stuff wil make your hair fall out. Oh, wait ........ I'm going to need a hat like Koch's before long!

    • @richo8657
      @richo8657 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      He can't even speak properly or explain what he is doing. He is so busy gasping for air and showing what HE can play. Good stuff, but he certainly isn't a teacher by any means.

    Koch is great but too much overdrive to sound like Johnny Winter. Reverb has a video of Johnny Winter licks that gets the tone right.
