- Here we look at three difficult pitches over rocks and on side of hill. I describe what I did and why. All low pitches due to poor weather.

Well done Tony, love my trailstar as its a go almost anywhere shelter.
Spot on Tony. The Trailstar is so versatile, it can be pitched almost anywhere, provides amazing protection from the elements and tons of room inside. Its been my goto fave shelter for a long time.
ATB, Dave
Thanks Dave
Ahhhh wonderful.
Brilliant stuff Tony, I love how one is only limited by one's imagination when it comes to tarp setups. I recently did a 5 day hike in Namibia and everyday my configurations were different. I even anchored one side of my tarp on the canyon wall one night same as your first set-up.
Thank you 😊 yeah it's a fab shelter and I love tarps so much fun 😀
Great video Tony. I really should get one ...
Haha indeed it's fab
Hi Tony,
loved the past batch of videos that you have brought out.
Just wondering, would a thermarest xtherm (regular wide) fit in a MLD bug bivvy 2.
Thanks
Vince
Yes in bug bivy 2 it’ll fit as loads of mesh on top
The UL bivy care needed what goes in as it’s different design.
If I was to get one, would you recommend on seam sealing it or not needed?
Not needed for bug biy nor bug bivy 2 nor the UL buvy. Only needed fir eVent bivy
Hi Tony, Looks a very versatile design,I’m assuming you have both versions of the trailstar? Would you say the new trailstar is an improvement? Atb, Michael
Indeed lol you might have seen my video with both types recently
Yea I think it’s improved it’s longer in hem but fits in many spots with loads of space inside
Did you have enough of the MLD guylines supplied with the shelter or did you order extra? Tia, Michael
@@williammay6879 yes enough for all linelocks
I'm sure I had spare left too. Nine by 3' plus one by ten feet is how I'd suggest you cut as minimums
The side tie outs might have some left for one or two maybe but they less important plus you could use thinner on those the ones on the panels I mean
My videos on MLD package arriving and setting up the duomid XL might be of interest recent ones. Mention sealing and loads of info 👌
Any questions pop em my way
