Why in d2 system under zero field +- 1 state is not split into +1and -1 state.but in d4 system +-1 state is splitted under the zero field. Pls clarify sir.

Good question...Already I have explained in this video ..It depends upon the no of protons and neutrons...And for copper the I value 3/2 is not clear in any book.... Sometimes 5/2 is given..So not clear..
