I'm grateful to be alive, so that I can experience things like this. I mean it, there's a lot of garbage that I've had to deal with already in life -- abuse, trauma, loss, pain -- but I'm glad I'm alive with eyes to see such beautiful countryside and ears to hear such celestial music. Thanks for being part of what makes it all worth it, Mogwai.
I'm a Mogwai fan, about to come back home after a one year bicycle trip across 20 different countries. And I can't stop crying. Thank you Mogwai, love you.
In my case it isn’t a one year cycling trip, but at least two decades of survival-mode (long story), but this song (even more the long version) soooo symbolizes how damn good it can feel after you survive a huge struggle, wether it is by bike or by brain.
@@Shakenmike117 trauma's in the younger years.....after that years and years of living just trying to ignore the pain that you don't know how to deal with yet. Thinking/rationalizing it away. Blocking out feelings so much that it's hard to reconnect to once the trauma's are dealt with. Had brain injuries later (epilepsy-related), opted to have the part removed. After that i've managed to recconect to my emotional side and have shed more (good) tears in the last few years than i did (any kind of tears) in the 2 to 3 decades before.
@@tjitse3916your experiences and realizations are somewhat akin to a single mushroom therapy session. I wonder if it can further improve your wellbeing. Thanks for sharing your story btw. And congratulations, you are still ALIVE! :)
I justed searched for "How to be a wolf" in youtube, looking for some kind of motivational video on how to be more outgoing. Well, I didn't find that. But I found this, this wonderful video. And you know what, I think this might be exactly what I needed. :)
I feel a sense of freedom and happiness when i listen to this song with this video in particular. Like all the worries, problems and tensions from day to day life disappear for a few minutes. It's very refreshing.
This is the best example that you don't need to have special effect in music video. What is need is good idea, great camera work and interesting places.
I feel like that statement "one of the best nights of my life" might be something a lot of people think after a mogwai concert. I thought the same thing the first time I saw them, and it was only slightly diminished the second time...
I would bet money that is was shot in Alaska. I recognize so much of that landscape, particularly along the Old Seward Highway between Anchorage and Girdwood/Whittier/Seward. That tunnel looks like the initial tunnel into Whittier. I am nearly 100% positive. Great video!
Magnificent. What a return to form. Only quibble is that the album version, though longer, is slightly less amazing, but only because I heard this version first.
believe me, the very first time where I heard how to be a Werwolf there come some pictures up in my head. And now I see this video..combine with the song..and it is exactly what I saw as I very first heard this song. This gave me goosebumps..

@spencersite That'll be Norway. Makes you want to go doesn't it. Maybe Norway should use it as a tourist promotion video
