Thank you so much for spending the time and effort in producing these videos. As someone who’s local bra shop has just closed during covid, I have been unable to find a bra online that fits correctly, and am resigned to having to make my own. Your series of videos have explained the process so well, I feel confident that I can make something that fits and looks half decent with my basic sewing skills!
I'm glad you are finding them useful and are encouraged to try making your own bras! I will be doing videos on fitting and alternations soon that should be even more helpful :)
I'm from India so I cant come so much far to attend the lectures that you provide on your webiste. I just wanted to know that do you give ONLINE classes?
What kind of fabric did you use for for the bridge and can be used for the bridge ? I've seen someone use plain cotton (doubled) for the bridge of her testbra. Is that ok too ?
Great tutorial, I need to find the time to watch from number one video. I have a question: when apply the band elastic I was told to cut off the excess of fabric before the second pass of the zig-zag, what are your thoughts? necessary or not?, or depends on the fabric?
Hi - I'm glad you enjoyed it! I never trim away the fabric underneath the elastics (unless it pokes out) because I want to maintain as much support as possible in the band. It always seems to me that trimming away the fabric is weakening the structure!

It is always better to use the same fabrics that you intend to use in the finished bra. Plain cotton has no give whatsoever and the fabric frays.

@@fit2sew I agree
What pattern is this
It is the Classic bra from PinUp Girls, but the method works with any pattern.
