Thanks to your FIRST All Patched Up video, I ended up grabbing it for my backlog. Sadly, I haven’t even played it yet, but plan to dive in in the near future. Out of curiosity, are ALL of the DLC’s free add-ons? Amazing what they’ve done with it, so kudos to the developer for getting it right 👍 Keep up the great work that you do 🍻

Brilliant! All channels should follow up. I feel like TH-cam content makers and developers should have a symbiotic relationship - and the fans (Metacritic) alike should back up older ratings when a game is updated.
If you like a game, support the developers - too many developers have dropped out of the industry even though they create meaningful, or just fun experiences for our off time.

This is easily the most important series that this channel has, and it is quite a shame that I can't think of a single other outlet that I follow, written or video, that does anything similar. To a certain extent, in fact, I believe that failure to follow up is irresponsible--when games change as much as they do with updates and patches, those who make a living critiquing them have an obligation to ensure that the critique remains valid. I will definitely now be buying this.
I feel like this game and these devs prove how important your channel is. Not only do you go out of your way to showcase when devs put in the work and help us players stay on top of quality stuff, but it also seems like you're actually one of the driving forces for their continued improvement. That SwitchUp seal of approval carries a lot of weight. Thanks! I hope to pick this up eventually! Edit: I Won

So true. I got Baldo because of that last patched up update and i'm so impressed by their dedication to a game they can only sell once. We owe it to them to support by all means available. To have a dev put all this love into something WITHOUT live service or predatory DLC practices is so rare.

As with most, the visual style of this grabbed my interest from the hop. It's one of those instances where being 3 yrs behind in gaming has helped bc I missed all the disappointment and only get the best version possible!

The game runs like magic on Switch now, 0 bugs, and its freaking epic!
If you love dungeons and puzzles that will make you go crazy, looking and thinking of every possible way to figure out the solution, the game is right for you..

Can you invert both x and y axis on the game. You couldn’t on the first release, have they added it???
@@ruthurban1959 the right stick is used for nothing, so you will not need such option
You only use the left analog stick for movement and the camera is top down.
That’s why there is no such option in the game.

It’s waiting for me. I bought the game on its last sale. But if I’d hadn’t been for you guys (switchup) I would t have even known. But having watched a few patched up videos where baldo was referenced and the work I saw the devs putting into this game, I decided to get it. I think it would be easy for the devs to get bitter or frustrated, but they worked through it and that’s admirable and deserves some praise. Now the game seems to be a wonderful hidden gem on the console. Thanks to the devs and switchup for all the work making this game an easy buy.

OMG I SCREAMED AT THE UNRELEASED FINAL DLC CONTENT! 🥹😭 The original ending did feel rushed, as if the game was just cut short, and this footage 100% confirms it! I'm now so hyped about playing through the final FINAL section. This game really is special, I found some puzzles extremely hard but oh boy is this game satisfying when you actually figure them out! With the 2 DLCs I almost logged in 80h on Baldo, that's honestly huge for a game made by 2 people! And the collector's edition is simply beautiful, got mine not long ago ❤️
I'm gonna pick it up now. Always great when a small developer gets time to Polish things up and see their vision through. Thanks for covering it again

I really like the art style. I'll have to add this to my list of ones to get when funds permit. I really appreciate that the devs have continued working on it and improving it. I think it's really important to mention when developers come through rather than just griping when they fall short

So the day before yesterday I was in my local video game store, that is owned by a friend, and I saw a physical copy of Baldo and I remembered you had 2 videos on the game with the second being about it's improvements. I then thought, "What if the developers add more to the game and made it even better. Would SwitchUp cover it a third time?". The next day I read about this. This is a true story, and I would put money on a lie detector test against anyone who doesn't believe me. Just crazy.

As a huge Zelda fan I was really hoping to pick this up at launch but got scared away from the reviews. I like video games that go through redemption arks, some games have a story, outside of the game - and its very interesting to see the development of games (especially inde ones)

What a great start to my Friday. I always wanted to love this game but let's face it. It's been hard to. Hearing this is wonderful news is fantastic timing... and I now know what I'll be doing all this weekend. Alert the paps ... no interviews this weekend! Baldo and I are catching up !!!
