A walk above Kingussie to Creag Bheag

This little hill above the Badenoch village of Kingussie offers a fine afternoon walk with great views and a steepish climb to the summit. And a few stories thrown in for good measure.

It’s 29 years since I last sat in the sheltered seat to to watch the sunrise while walking my dogs. We also used to stand & watch the the low level training flights of the RAF over the loch, the joy we felt when looking into the cockpit to see the pilot waving to us. Thank you for publishing this video & rekindling so many fantastic memories of our trips up to Kingussie.

Cracking views and a wonderful story, seeing the frost on the ground lower down reminded me of a mountain bike ride years ago involving a frozen waterfall in the Carrick Hills on the west coast - the bike was a right off but I was only grazed (badly 😂) 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
