Great documentary. I think Will's closing question has a sad but realistic answer. Enthusiasm for culture and tradition isn't something today's younger generations have time for.
Considering the current assaults and disparaging of European cultures, there may be a "circling of the wagons" phenomenon to arise as tribes reclaim identities.....

I'm a Mcpherson descendant and I actually watch this so I can learn about my clan
"Enthusiasm for culture and tradition" is now practically illegal and "racist" for white people, yet and noble and admirable for black people.

My ancestor Macpherson was kidnapped from the Inverness and brought to the new world to be sold. He eventually settled in North Carolina.
