As a photoshop user I have tried different things for background remove but in end you have to use pen tool or other for finishing, this photo is portrait so it's easy for photoshop to detect the highlight object..

another simple : select subject -> ctrl + c to copy and open new document paste it there off the backround and save your image as png by exporting it as png and backround will be removed
So many ways to remove the background now days .. Photoshop is awesome
Easiest method: go to paint 3d and use magic select 😂😂
