You are a lifesaver, I'm a beginner in using photoshop, been struggling to change the background as neatly as I wanted, just watched the first 3mins of the video and I was able to select the parts I wanted n deselect the parts I didn't want. What I like is that he gave a short and sufficient explanation about toolbars which I didn't know what they are used for. Goin to watch all of his videos and learn photoshop .thank you so much.🙌

Jesús, great tutorial! All the steps were very well explained in detail. I'm from the old school of "silhouetting" an image from the background using the "pen" tool creating a path around the item then create a mask. I knew there was an easier way, but didn't know that Photoshop was THAT advanced. I'll be using the "Object Selection Tool" from now on. I've subscribed. Thank you so much. - Joe

Most of the work I do on PS is Isolating parts of images to layers for motion graphics. Thanks for sharing these techniques. This will save me many hours from erasing pixels by hand like I have been doing since I started using PS!

Love your videos Jesus. At 6:11 (How to Remove Background in PS), "under view, go to B&W", my screen goes to darker onion skin, not black. What setting do I have wrong?
me too! and i have 2021 PS too! something is missing there.
Phillip, when you change to the B&W view, you also see the Onion Skin? That's weird. I don't know why it would do that. It should show you just the black and white mask.

the "select subject" option helps a ton. i've been using magic eraser and taking my time going around and erasing the green stains on my person.
