The Ninja arent even Teenagers anymore Kai is like over 25
I never saw the ninja as teenagers. Ever since the pilot, I always assumed they were young adults and they gradually got older throughout the series. They were teachers in rebooted for crying out loud! That means they would’ve had to gone to college for years and I feel like I shouldn’t need to mention this, but you need to be an adult to become a teacher. I know Kai says that they’re teenagers in hunted, but that makes absolutely no sense. Because if they were teenagers this whole time that means in Skybound the entire city was obsessed with a bunch of children and we’re actively shipping them and hitting on them. I don’t care what anyone says, They were never teenagers

@@ZeroJump even if you can explain away those things there are still a lot of other reasons they were never teenagers. Kai and Nya we’re living on their own in the pilot, which means at the very least Kai had to of been 18, there was a pretty substantial time jam between legacy of the green ninja and rebooted because scales has a kid that is able to walk and talk so he’s probably at least 4, Nadakhan tried to marry Nya and if Nya was a teenager that would make that situation even messed up and I highly doubt that’s what the writers had in mind, Harumi was a child when her parents were killed by the devour and in SOG she’s a teenager so that means at least years have passed. Even if the ninja were teenagers during the pilot, there’s no way they’re still teenagers during SOG. That line Kai says in hunted, makes literally no sense
Hold up, your missing material. In a episode where wu was still young kai corrected jay by saying "we're teenagers!" And Jay replied saying "well we're grown up" meaning the in-between the age of 19 and 16
This is gonna be VERY UNPOPULAR, but I hope wu ends up dead or stays a ghost. It would be really good for this new show to establish the fact that they can kill off characters without bringing them back, and I think wu being dead will be perfect for growing lloyd.
They should've done that in Crystalized but I agree
Wu have plot armour, from great devour, overlord, the time brothers, etc
I mean with wu gone so that means that Garmadon is also dead because they can't have light without Darkness so I think wu spirit represents the light while garmadon's spirit representing the darkness

I really enjoyed the first part of ninjago dragons rising and I’m glad that they brought back the 22 minute format
So far, this season is pretty good. It’s basically just Hunted but done right. I’ve enjoyed a lot of what this season has to offer. And I can’t wait to see more seasons of this new show.

No, Hunted is so much better ( and i'm not a toxic OG. I LOVE every Season after the Oni triologie, except Crystallized, but that season was ok ). Dragon rising haven't the feeling of danger, seriousness and tension Hunted had. It had so much Potential but it didn't use it and messed it up. I was hyped at first ( with the first teaser ) but then i was so disappointed. Even when i saw the first Trailer i lost my hype but i still had hoped and thought it would be better than i think. But it was much worse than i thought... I don't say you shouldn't like that season, everyone have their opinions but i can't understand why it should be better than Hunted. Especially 'cause it was PERFECT ( when Dareth wouldn't exist but anyway ).

Tbh I liked crystalized
Dragons Rising is so fare very good it is every thing that it need to be after crystalized and I really like how it is giving use hints to more but and not giving us answers yet.
I feel like this Series is better than 2019 Ninjago so far, but my biggest complaint is that P.I.X.A.L isn’t mentioned at all
Tbf there was never any reason to mention pixel. Zane didn’t really show up until near the end of the first half of the season. I’m sure she will get mentioned in part 2 at some point
Yeah but she didn’t even get a picture in episode 3 which rubs me the wrong way 😕

I agree, dragons rising is amazing
I really enjoyed this season. The beginning mostly focusing on our two new characters and Lloyd with them adding the rest of the original team over time is honestly a good thing, because we get to focus on the new ones more while still getting caught up on what the original characters have done since the end of Crystalized. I think the biggest upside to this season is that we’re back to 22 minute episodes. I think the 11 minute episodes were holding the last few seasons back, even if we did get some really great ones like Master of the Mountain and Seabound (And this coming from someone who doesn’t hate Crystalized).
Overall, I really like Dragons Rising so far.

I loved this season, but the only really big problen is that the merge is only kinda inportant for the first 5 episodes, then its just all about Sora, and imperium, which i still enjoyed. Dragons Rising is an 8.5/10 Very strong season 😊.
The Ninjago Sequel Series Dragons Rising Season 1 Part 1 was Absolutely Amazing 9/10 Super Great Start to the 1st Season The Ninja Were Awesome Arin and Sora were Both Amazing Characters and The Villains were So Amazing and Threatening Characters I’m Super Excited for Ninjago Dragons Rising Season 1 Part 2 When it Comes Out Later This Year in September or October😎🥷❤

I honestly think we'll have to wait until season 2 to get the return of garmadon.
I really liked the first half of the season. Of course it’s entirely possible that the second half will completely suck and ruin everything but as for the first half I thought it was pretty good. Not perfect by any means but good. And after crystalized, I’m willing to take anything that isn’t horrible😂. I really like Sora, but Arin just kind of feels like he’s just there. I don’t hate him or anything though. I honestly don’t have a lot of complaints, except for the flash back in the calm inside. Hearing Lloyds new voice actor coming out of his child’s body is super jarring and really distracting and they didn’t even get his old design right. I also think Kai is starting get Flanderized. Its not nearly as bad as jays Flanderizashin. Also I’m so glad Nya actually does shit this season! Anyway I really liked the first half and I hope part 2 doesn’t suck. Part 1 gave us a lot of questions and very few answers. My biggest question is what happened to the Departed Realm? That’s the afterlife but if all of the realms are merged now, how does the afterlife work? (also I really hate that there releasing the season in parts)

Kai has been Flanderized since season 11, Dragons Rising is starting to fix him.
I personally don’t mind the Ninja not being aged up by much. I just assumed that their all at least in their early to mid twenties.

Pros:
+Literally anything about the visuals.
+The concept of the merge and all the mysteries attached to it.
+Imperium is an amazingly handled and also kinda (but only kinda) disturbing place. I love it! Kids shows should do that more often.
+While I am not as crazy about the dragons talking as you are, I really like the concept of source dragons and the scene where Lloyd gets powered up by one is one if Lloyd‘s best scenes ever.
+It is a very funny season.
+Sora and Arin are great new characters. (Especially the former. As I said in another comment, she is what Finn from the Star Wars Sequels should have been.)
+The terrible parts if Crystalized, like Harumi, get completely ignored.

+„I will be the Danger“ is a 12/10 episode and already in my Top 2 episodes of the Ninjago canon. You will never convince me otherwise.
Mixed:
+/-While I am happy that the Cloud Kingdom garbage got an explanation, the explanation they did give feels kind of anti-religion. Maybe it is just me being biased because of my religion, but I am counting it.
+/-I appreciate the B-plot with Arin and this teen group from Imperium for adding more layers to that realm, but their characters were really annoying and Arin was just stupid for no reason. Why did you trust these random teens that were obviously evil, Arin? Tell me why! {insert BSB joke here}
Cons:
-Zane‘s return blows. It is so rushed and turns Zane from a three-dimensional character to an exposition machine.
-Why did Ras get punished for Rapton‘s incompetence?
-The new wind master, Euphrasia, is boring as hell and her episode is absolutely overrated.
-I still suffer from PCSD (Post-Crystalized Stress Disorder), so I do not completely (but mostly) trust this season yet.
Overall: A Tier Season that is very, very close to S Tier. Let‘s hope it stays that way.

Does anyone else think Dragons rising season 1 fixed nya's character? She's useful now. Even without her powers she contributed. If it wasn't for her helping the rock monsters from the realm of madness who are demziled in distress thanks to the source dragons, they would have been neutralized. Nya saved them. is nya fixed yet? It looked such fantastic in her character, especially after that awful interaction she had with the mechanic last season.
If she's really still ruined what can the writers do to fix her? I'm honestly sad about what happened to her in crystalized. I can't stand nya's seabound arc being erased because of this mess.

Akita is dead
Time is faster in the never realm. We saw Zane say he had been there for decades, + when that happened, it was season 11, so there were 4 to 5 seasons of that time difference, so she should be dead.
The Co-Creator confirmed that Aspheera blasted Zane back about 60 years into the past. Formlings also age slower than normal humans. So no, Akita is not dead
