I run a small scale (40 employees) industry in Ahmedabad India, can't remember last time we had a government department visited our unit. Electricity is available 24*7, not need to observe a holiday. We never have to visit our bank, everything is possible online. India has problems, but there is ease of doing business.

The early 80’s Bharat (where Pakistan appears to be today) getting a government job used to be ‘aspirational’. By late 80’s the brain drain story took over, by early 90’s a series of Infosys/Reliance Petroleum style Industrial & Tech IPOs, mid 2000’s JustDial style platform led IPOs, 2010’s by marketplaces, and now the startup boom. Now a government job is still valued, but far from aspirational.

1st reason, One of the main fundamental reason why Pakistan going back ward -Most of the people of Pakistan don't know that The colonial system of jaghirdar / jamindar was abolished during land reforms in former East Bengal / East Pakistan now (Bangladesh) in 1950,India in 1951 but still it is totally absence in Pakistan.Still Pakistan protecting the colonial system of jaghirdar and General's and estabilishmentse. When 1% ( jaghirdar and Punjabi Ruling Elite and Army Establishment ) of pakistan controls 99 % Pakistan then Nothing will be OK.That 1% was a gift of colonial British mindset.People of East Bengal realised that colonial mindset from 1st day but still people of Pakistan living in Denial mindset of colonialism.2ND Reason why Pakistan going back ward that is majority people of Pakistan are not serious about their country. 3rd reason is that people of Pakistan are sleeping last 75 years but don't want to wake up and those people of East Bengal did wake up and fight for equal rights & justice from first day to 1971 they're now one of the fastest growing nation in the world. 4th reason is that ( estabilishment of pakistan and the ruling Elite of Pakistan and Mollah & Military ) systematically created a nation as aimless - visionless - leaderless - brainless -careless - hopeless. Religion don't need any boundary like Pakistan. Another fundamental reason pakistan and the people of pakistan systemetically destroy own identical roots , language ,traditional values and haritage of ethnecity and divercity. It's a multi organ failure of Pakistan. It's too late to make changes in course correction after 75 years in Pakistan. Nothing will be OK in overnight but it takes to long to go but it's impossible for Pakistan because people of Pakistan love to take imported language, culture, luxurious items and policy. It's not a welfare state but it's a martial race nation and its not a country for the people but it's a country for jaghirdar and General's.It's self-destructive nation and It's a garrison state with colonial setup. It's neither a Islamic nor a democratic country. If the Grass look greener on the other side of the world. Stop comparing, Stop complaining and Start watering the grass you are standing on.*

  • @irfansayed414
    @irfansayed414 ปีที่แล้ว

This talk was without doubt a very engaging one. And one prime reason was that the fundamental reasons that plague our economy were explained in a simplistic manner, with much of the substance rooted in the personal experiences of the educator as an industrialist. In a sense, this also fitted well with the ambience of a small and modest congregation.
A variety of economic and industrial issues, as they relate to economic growth, were identified. Loosely-structured road maps were also proposed. But Mr. Umair Javed could have only gone that far because the classical uncertainty in Pakistan’s policy-making environment can defeat the brightest of minds. However, some of the definitive actions that he emphasized merit attention. These include: import substitution; petrol rationing; trade with India; cut in defence expenditure; discarding tariff protections; targeted training of workforce; subsidy on commodities; de-incentivizing investments in real estate; and payment facilitation for software export.
But, as always, the million-dollar question eludes an answer: “What operating and governance mechanisms will be needed to ensure their implementation?” Individual initiatives can only be sustainable if sufficient monetary (or credit) incentives and legal coverage are extended by governments in a facile manner. Even if this forthcoming, it would be just the initial thrust. It will merely provide the building blocks. Developing the policy frameworks and trade agreements for facilitating internal and external business transactions will be the job of the government. I don’t say this in a disparaging tone. There is always hope. As they say, “the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.” So, let us begin!
Once again, thanks for the opportunity!

The best possibility I see for Pakistan:
    1. Return POJK to India. This will ensure your Eastern front is immediately settled.
    2. Default on high rate Chinese loans, you cannot default on any other loans without major repercussions.
    3. Sell your nuclear weapons to United States. They will ensure IMF treats you leniently.
    4. Follow IMF requirements, you will have funds freed from all above steps.
    5. Provide your citizens better living.
    6. Focus on holding your Western borders. You are going to need almost all your strength there for the next 5 years.

I beg to differ, the economic reforms India brought about in ‘91 were mainly due to India being a closed economy and the govt’s involvement in industries and business, the changes we got in were mainly to open up the economy and to promote private businesses.. the problems faced by pakistan are very very different at the moment and would need a very very different treatment..

Indian Imports are higher than its exports but shortfall is not only very well met by over USD 100 Billion and FDIs but also maintaining high Forex reserves of about USD 600 billions.
Policy of Make in India is continuously developing Imports substitution and Exports oriented industries.

Indians too excited, will be disappointed in 2031. There have been talks of Industries shifting from China and India has failed to make it buisness friendly.
I was also an optimist like you but after 3/4 years I have come to my senses, Indians will keep boasting about this IT while failing spectacularly at manufacturing.
IT employs not even 10% of Indians.
Even in budget, there was nothing for manufacturing incentives.
PLI got just like 9000 crores whereas it should have been 10 times more at least.
Just remember in last century under Congress, India was 50% poorer than Pakistan.
Maybe it's a thing to celebrate.
      So you can.

@Royal Shetty problem is Congress will come back to centre and they are already in many state or some 🤡 like DMK. India hasn't achieved anything at global stage amd already I am seeing people celebrate.
Yes from poverty to poor is a good improvement but this is not a time to celebrate.
Need to make India half as good as China and I don't see it happening with the attitude of people.
Just search any Tier 3 city of China and compare its videos from Indian tier 1.
A lot needs to be done before celebration.
India still hasn't solved the Islamist problem, still conversions are allowed.
A convert today may live peacefully but his kids/ grandkids will ask you to convert forcefully. It's destruction of a culture and Indian laws allow that because 'we give freedom to individual'.
Idiot, if all conversions were free will then there won't be billions spent on it via church/mosques.
This decade is make or break for India and I see people are taking it for granted as if India has already achieved its position.
