      Thanks for the feedback. You don't mind watching a montage of a bunch of preflop folding hands?

  • @froy98
    @froy98 ปีที่แล้ว

    That feels like an angle. I’ve seen multiple players use the point as a check at the table, he knew what he was doing😂
    Anyway I just started watching your vlog, love it! Especially the analysis appreciate that even though I’m sure it makes you do more work. Keep it up!

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea there are a lot of almost-universally accepted gestures (point, wave, nodding with eye contact to the dealer, saying "good", "yep", etc). But I guess the technically correct ones are usually only tapping the table, and verbally saying "check". Probably wise to always confirm with the dealer.
      Thanks for checking it out =)

    Great video. I have a hard time believing he'd angle you over such a small pot, but who knows? You ran good and minimized mistakes.

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I honestly can't tell. If it were intentional, I don't think the main incentive was for the small amount in the pot, but more towards out of spite. The finger point was very apparent so I don't know how else to interpret it aside from signaling for me to action.

    12:57 - yeah, i think you we're angled. Why the heck else would he be pointing? Like what was he trying to say / insinuate?!

    Happen to be in town but won't have a chance to play this time. Like the format. Someone mentioned a graphic for you position along with the hand number. Would be nice if it doesn't overload even more editing.
    This is something nice, but if too taxing make it an every 3rd, or 5th, or short session frequency.

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep. Not sure about the frequency yet but since quite a few peeps have said they enjoy this format, I'll definitely make more. Thanks for the feedback and suggestion.

    Def would call that guy out for the point. Yea yea, don't tap the glass and all that. Fish who angle are different imo and deserve to take some heat
    I like this format. Makes it feel like a real session. Prob Aly a bitch to edit tho, so nice job and ty for the extra effort. One thing I would suggest for the folding montages is to caption your table position too.

      @KeevinPokerVlog  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes you're right the editing for this one was pretty taxing and filming was more challenging too. But if you guys enjoy it it's worth it =). Thanks for the feedback and suggestion.

    How did the dealer perceive the situation? Like a check? If the dealer also perceives the situation as a check, then it is the check that applies.
    Flopping a set 1/5 is good. Normal is 1/8 in the long run. Or if you are me 1/75.

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      The dealer also perceived it as a check so she was genuinely confused as well. But I let it go really quick so it didn't really matter.
      Yes flopping a set 1/5 for one session is awesome! But if I include some other session numbers, my average is probably closer to yours =)

    You are crushing. I didn’t think it was an angle, just a misunderstanding but would have told him not to do it again. Check back the full house as well

  • @joeyknish1712
    @joeyknish1712 ปีที่แล้ว

    I am not sure if you got angled or not, but you flashing your hand should not result in a muck/fold. Your hand was inadvertently opened because you thought the V checked. Also, your hole cards were easily identifiable and action should just be continued. I see people open up their hand face up in Vegas during heads up while in the tank.

    • @KeevinPokerVlog
      @KeevinPokerVlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea Vegas poker rooms in general have better rules that are good for the game I think. Here where I am, most of the rooms have this rule: if you flash your hole card(s) during a hand it's considered mucked. For this particular case, I probably could have made an argument and stood my ground, but the pot wasn't big and I didn't even have a real hand so not really worth it to delay the game.

      @joeyknish1712 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KeevinPokerVlog I totally understand. I am a reg at GV as well, and some dealers are by the book, and some dealers will let it slide. All these rules varies by casino, I know HR is a bit more lenient.
