It was, back in the 90's.... in the mid 2000's when they kinda changed their sound to go a slightly more pop punk direction, I think the newer fans were not only not familiar with the song, stylistically it wasn't their thing of what was going on then.
This is such an amazing song. Im not sure why its still not on a regular rotation for any rock station. Group is the real deal when the song actually sounds better live than off the CD
Being from Buffalo and hearing bits and pieces of this song on 102.1 used to drive me nuts. It sucked back then not having the ability to google songs or Shazaam them. Fast forward 30 years and I never gave up trying to find this song with just bits and pieces in my memory. Finally found it on Spotify on someone's Canadian Alt Hits of the 90s playlist. Crazy.....
@nickelcitydave ///excellent///I am a long time Treble Charger fan. Here's a few embarrassing truths: I'm 53 (look 30-35 though/ how many times you hear that?LOL) o.k. anyway, yes-53 and still attend a lot of club shows...LMAO). I still have and sparingly wear a TC t-shirt...also have an original NC-17 CD purchased from a vendor at this show. OK:real truth, I'm a music writer. It's important for me to remain in touch with new/indie r'n r bands. ..this was a very good show!!!! peace!!!
@madmad616 The frontman MADE Deryck Whibley. This vid was shot 1 year before Sum 41's first album was released. Also, Is it a concidence that the frontman also produced sum 41's 1st album?
dusch888 I met that frontman and had the distinct honour of going to his house and playing guitar with him. One of the most humble men I’ve ever met and a class act.
i first saw them in the movie "Mr Music",since they are my favorite,i listen to them every day,and i'm so sad that i can't find the movie on the internet:(,anyone has an idea where i can get it from? Mr. Music (1998)
LOL... no. This was fairly typical power ballad stuff in alternative rock in the 90's. Not unique to Radiohead or even really their thing, especially after the first and 2nd album in their career.
What the David Spade is going on here? This dude is only a mullet away from being Joe Dirt. Great song nonetheless, proves you don't have to be a great singer to make rock n roll.
Why isn't this a huge hit? It's such a Great Tune!
I Freaking Love It!

This song used to make me cry back in the '90s. Thanks for posting.
I seen this Live in North Bay Ontario at the waterfront. and when I heard it I was Freaken high... Great song!!
This was shot in July of 2001 at the former Tap Room in downtown Buffalo, NY.
Knew it !
Thx
I seen them live years ago so good. Its weird seeing him without glasses
Muy buena cancion, mucho tiempo sin escucharla.
Que buen recuerdo.
They played “Bucapalooza 1997” at Beamsville District Secondary School with Len!
At the height of “Geek Rock”!!!!!

My teenage heartbreak anthem !!! Thank you 🙏
they seem pretty good in concert

Respond to this video...
now that was fuckin awesome!!!! :D
I thought I would respond to your comment ... Even though it's 14 years later.
Killer Tune*
Very cool tune. It sort of sounds like something Radiohead would do.
True

@dusch888 yes he produced but why did he make deryck?!
he's not in the badn why he has the same tatto (41) like the others?!
@madmad616 oh lord....
that first guitar solo reminds me of pink floyd's mother.
Bill Priddle in this video reminds me a bit of Sam Rockwell (random, I know, just saying)
Such an odd voice. It's like he's singing through his nose. Gorgeous song, though!
@nosfholio They had some pretty bad guitar techs. In favorite worst enemy and brand new low, greigs guitar went out mulitiple times.
holy poop batman
lol uncle sam wearing a "TREBLE CHARGER AMERICAN PSYCHO" button
just sayin
I like Morris's drumming better .
when was this?
Hmm not their best perfromance! they made so many mistakes.. but still an awesome song!
man, if i weren't allowed to sing, i'd at least demand to play the lead guitar. playing rhythm while your singer wails on a solo is lame.
Morris' drumming was better on this one
that crowd is boring...
