@@denisardelean1816 thanks Denis, i tried a litte bit with cine 4 and i think this will be my favorite 👌 a little bit less dynamic range bit very similar and easier to color grade 😀
I don't have an a6500 but I'm hiring a videographer who has one. Does overexposing by 2 stops remove details in the highlights? My objective is to save the highlights. The last time I hired a videographer with an a6500, the skin on my subject looks correctly exposed but the highlights were gone (in the background and everywhere else). He was using a regular profile, either standard or natural (can't remember exactly). Thanks! God bless!
Actually, recently I've been a fan of overexposing by maximum 1 stop. It does give you a bit more noise in the shadows, but it looks sooo cinematic! I'd recommend overexposing somewhere between +0.7- +1.3. And tell the videographers not to shoot slog3, the image really falls apart once you start grading it
@@DreamDuoFilms if your s-log 3 image getting noisy on a6300/a6500 after Color grading - that means you are really bad at Color Grading. So, I am not an expert, but when I shoot S-Log 3/SGamut3Cine on my a6300 and grade it - it looks amazing and without any noise, but there is one rule - maximum iso is about 1250(800 is perfect) and it must be a day. With sun or without - doesn`t matter, as a rule at the day there is enough light. But when it gets dark, S-Log3 is really noisy, you are right. At the evening or night I use S-Log2 (And probably S-Log2 profile reduct noise - idk)
In what mode is your camera when you're shoot? I shoot in my customised modes on my A6500 and it causes the camera to auto expose which i find hard to fix. Please help me!
Next video - how to properly set focus.
lol
CilvēksArKameru maaan i was about to comment this shit 😂
hahah
just came to write the same :D
haha
I’ve watched so many videos on how to expose for S log And this one has yet been the best one I’ve seen thank you so much for your help
dope video very helpful just watching this for the 1st time 2021 1st time Sony owner
where from Germany are you?
How do I reduce my iso in slog 2, for some reason mine isn't working lowest is 800 ?
Very good 👍🏻 I am actually looking for such a video 🙏 I am not sure to film in slog2 or slog3 🙈
Slog3 will get you artifacts when color grading because it’s 8bit video, stick with slog2 :)

Helpful thanks. The card tricks are super cool too.
hey buddy, which lenses did you use to film the card trick?
What f-stop in shutter speed did you use for this video?
Need to set +2 stop clipping at camera to get proper exposure ?

DreamDuo Films it’s a learning process jus happy for creatives like you sharing the Knowledge

wow - great stuff bro!
your cinematography. I'm your fan bro.
which gimble is this?
Do you not set your zebra’s to 107+ that’s where the highlights in slog 2 clips
i allways use thar zebras setting, but sometimes its unreal, because you have to rise the iso so high, and sill you dont get the point
Ultimate 💛👌
this was a great description man. thanks
Awesome video
what would be sq motion settings ?
Use that mode if you want to preview an already slowed down clip in your camera, but I wouldn't recommend it due to it being lower bitrate
Your vids are amazing you should make editing walktrought or tutorial!
Iam gonna teach you how to use your camera, but at the first i will teach myself how to focus, so, wait a minute.... :D Anyway, good content :-)
Good times 😄
@@DreamDuoFilms i believe :D
great explaination, bro
This guy is out of focus
