Nope. Honda is the reason Yuki even got an F1 seat. Now it’s the reason he won’t get into Redbull cause Honda is leaving to Aston Martin. Yuki’s simply never been rated.

That team and Christian love underdogs and Checo was one. You can tell the whole team was routing for him. I bet Sergio is a genuinely nice bloke behind the scenes. Checco had good performances in lesser cars but not a good fit in the RB. Few de well in it. Good luck in Indy Car Yuki out-drives Lawson but Lawson may be the chosen one? Classic RB politics. Lame
I'll never understand why Checo's contract was extended. It's baffling. Checo is one of the most loved drivers on the grid and no one wanted that he would be out of the Red Bull seat but the way thing have progressed there was just no other way out. I hope he gets a decent seat and is able to perform better going forward.

Thank you, Red Bull, for giving a school bus to one of your drivers. Despite so many imperfections in Checo's car throughout this season, he never made a negative comment about his teammate or his team. What a gentleman!
Maybe if Red Bull supported the second car more so that they are not left to sink or swim and actually listened to their feedback. Red Bull’s greatest weakness has been the management of their drivers. That’s why they are had to recruit Perez, they burnt through all their exceptional younger drivers because they were thought to be not good enough.
Tsunoda is a pay driver from Honda .. as much as he may deserve it he’s never been a Redbull junior. Honda pays $10m per annum for Yuki to be in F1, and had they stayed with RBR .. he would get the seat. He goes to AM in ‘26.
Honestly they say it's the same car but how Perez always struggled with it and max pushing the car to its limits never really did golden spoon child for redbull
First of all, Checo was pushed out of Red Bull, regardless of what anybody says. If he left without getting paid what was owed him per his contract, IMO he's an idiot. Furthermore, Red Bull would never hire Carlos Sainz because he would not be a very willing # 2. Employing Liam Lawson (or Yuki Sunoda) will afford Red Bull the freedom to do with him whatever they want. Lastly, and I know I have no way to prove this, I strongly suspect that Checo was not given equal machinery than Max, even if their talent levels aren't even remotely close.
Yes, Red Bull compromised Checo's ability to score well by giving him substandard equipment. They did this because Helmut M. and Christian H. really had no interest in winning the Constructor's championship. Argh, come on CarlosNunes - employ some critical thinking skills, man !
Sorry for Checo, always hoping he would pull it back. Any driver going to red Bull will suffer ,not a fan of yuki, certainly not Lawson fan ,shame Carlos didn’t end up here. Bottas could be the one though.
