Actually the butter bread you have to have the staff grill it for you. Then the butter on the bread will melt and mix with the bread. And the staff will have a sauce for you to choose from. condensed milk, chocolate and strawberries 😁😁😁

18:42 This is “Foi Thong” (ฝอยทอง). It is originated from “fios de ovos”, traditional Portuguese sweet food. Portuguese chef introduced it 300 years ago in Ayutthaya period.

Toasties for breakfast ....and the shrimp ,crab , lobster and squid flavored chips were my favorite !
cheap ice cold water and air conditioning in the stores when its hot out ....I kept joking about dragging my mattress from the hotel into the 7/11 to sleep .

Gyoza: Japanese dumplings with diverse sorts of fillings like kimchi, chicken meat, prawn or other seafood, garlic etc., also known in Korea as Mandu. Best prepared fried or steam-cooked with water.
"Krapfen" are sweetend sorts of pastry like "Berliner","Amerikaner" etc. fried in oil similar but not identical to donuts.

I was way too embarassed to tell anyone back here in the States that I bought so many quick lunches at 7/11 in Thailand. Thanks for the validation! Are you going to feature those little min-pineapples that they grow there? I would have them with dried shrimp powder sprinkled on them. Tasted like Sweet and Sour Shrimp. I can't igure out why they don't grow them in Hawaii or Florida here. They'd be so popular.

I am Thai, 7-11 is just in front of my housing village. Every morning I buy packed street food from Thai vendors who sell in front of 7-11 on public pavement as my first priority. The cost is about 35 baht such as Pad Kapao Pork with Egg. 7-11 sells Pad Kapao Pork with no egg for 40 baht. On Sunday, no street vendor so I have to buy 40 baht microwaved meal from 7-11. I also buy 2 yoghurt cups every morning at 7-11. It is good for digestion and gut health. When I drive to travel in provinces, always stops at PTT petrol station to relieve myself and buy something to eat/drink at 7-11. I think practically all Thai drivers do the same.

That jello liquid dessert with corn reminds me of vietnamese Che(as in vietnamese style pudding). But then again southeast asian countries have influenced each other. Especially when it comes to food. And southeast asia may have influenced the french martial art of savate. Especially when France used to rule Vietnam, Laos, etc.

Note: Alcohol sale is banned on religious holidays and evening prior to general election day and election day itself. On regular day, alcohol sale is available from 11.00-14.00 and 17.00-24.00 at 7-11 and mini/super stores, Lotus or Big C. However, this is Thailand and you can always buy your favorite beer/liquor at your small convenient store in your village at all hours (if the store opens). Some shops stay open until 2 am on Friday and Saturday in some villages. Don't know why the police ignore those small shops selling alcohol at all hours.
