Wwilliamson89 it is definitely nice, especially if you are holding wood or tools. The only trucks I’ve seen with this feature before are the high end silverado/GMC twins. Thanks so much for watching and being part of the channel! By the way I sent off our Titan review footage to our editor, Im hoping to have that out soon! Thanks again for watching -Jake
Buck Gonsalvez of course! Reviewing this truck really was a treat. We will definitely be filming another F-150 video this year- maybe an XLT or a platinum! Thank you for your continued support! -Jake
Ahmad Al Ameer thanks for the kind words! We will certainly review an XLT, we have gotten many requests for it! We will probably film a few reviews when our spring break starts and do it then. Thanks for watching! -Jake
I have the xlt sport with fx4 and the powerboost hybrid. Let me just say it's the quickest vehicle I ever owned. And yes it's the ram Chevy GMC killer. The f250 with 7.4 has only the same power as mine 430hp and much lighter
K J hey! Apologies, that was incorrect! We mixed up our numbers on that stat! Sometimes with all the figures regarding the engine the info gets mixed up ;) we are always working to make better videos! Apologies for the inconvenience. -Jake
You can get 23-25 mpg city and same on Highway. I'm driving the pb hybrid and if you drive normal you get these numbers. Put in sport and go little crazy and you will get 22mpg
Eric Selden thanks bro! Unfortunately this dealer is next to a highway- but we are working towards some better noise equipment which should help with that! -Jake
The step is deffinitely great! The one reason I could see the power tailgate being nice is for when your hands are full and you want to close it- but it does come at a steep cost so definitely something to think about. Thanks for watching! -Jake
I have my first F150 Ford ,,brand,, after 20 years of only Mercedes, Audi and BMW’s. Honestly I’m surprised how bad and how many issues can have my 150, double more than all my previous cars together. Very disappointed!!! My dream is to have a robust Audi pick up truck
Alex S it sure is a lot! But this truck does have a lot of capability- the powertrain is certainly work worthy and the interior is well into luxury car territory. Luckily a lot of the really cool features introduced in these higher end trucks tend to drip down to the entry level ones as well. Thanks so much for watching! -Jake
If it depreciates $60k in 4 years, as you say, that means you can get a nice 2017 lariat for $10k today. And a 2016 is worth nothing in your world. Good luck with that! I can never understand why people lie to themselves like you do. Get real. And also keep in mind, msrp and the actual price you pay is not one in the same. You won't pay anywhere near msrp if you're a decent negotiator.
@@steve8803 ok smart ass. $15k the first year, $8k the second year, $5k the third year... Does that work better for you? Do you propose every hyperbolic or generalized statement as a “lie,” and completely miss the point, or do you just enjoy being socially awkward?
Plio the Ranger is sold in America as well! The Ranger works as Fords smaller truck but the F-150 is their full size. As far as I know the F-150 is not sold in the uk and your ranger is the same as ours over on this side if the Atlantic. Both are great trucks! Thanks for watching :) -Jake
Ram for sure has one of the nicest interiors in the market- thats why I chose that title. The F-150 has lagged and arguably had one of the worst truck interiors for a while but they really stepped it up here, clearly taking aim at them and the rest of the market! Thanks for watching and hope you have a great week -Jake
@@GasGuzzlers I was definitely aware of RAM's great interiors, but even after watching your review, which was great btw, did not make that connection and it just felt click baity - which I guess I would do too if I was making youtube videos lol
@@Austden shopping the last 2 weeks, not bias, I think the f150 interior is better, both nice, but I like the Ford center screen being horizontal vs vertical, also has the hard buttons to back it up. Getting pricey however. Just found more usable tech on f150 as well. Definitely was a close race between F150/ram. GMC needs some catching up
D M thanks for watching! While all seats recline the F-150 is special because it had a specific feature where the seat becomes a bed. In lower trim models such as this one that just means reclining a full 90 degrees to a flat surface, but in higher trims the seat will adjust neck support and raise the bottom to fill in any gaps, its a pretty cool feature!
Tim Poortinga we have a ram 1500 review going up soon! And I might be inclined to agree with you- at least for interior space ;) we were in a longhorn and that saddle interior might have some of the highest quality leather I have felt on any vehicle! Thanks for watching and commenting :) -Jake
@@GasGuzzlers I think the F150 Limited's interior is just as good as any Ram trim level, if not better. I think the F150 King Ranch is the most comparable to the Ram Longhorn though in terms of color.
Chris M. That is true! We will have to review a limited or king ranch as soon as possible. We will probably be back at the Ford dealer around March. Thanks for the suggestion! -Jake
This guy explains so well.
Great review!
2021 F150 North American Truck of the year

very good review

I'm waiting my 2021 F150 Lariat now. But . . . I think . . . Can get next year. Next year is 2022 ha

Beautiful truck
Nice 22 city 19mpg highway... good to know it’s better on gas around the city thanks

Nizzle Mania haha it was about 30 degrees F on that day- Colin just has sensitive hands ;) thanks so much for watching! -Jake
Great one as always, besides the damn background noise
Eric Selden thanks bro! Unfortunately this dealer is next to a highway- but we are working towards some better noise equipment which should help with that! -Jake
The simplicity of the step in the tailgate = genius
The $700 option to power it = idiotic

$70k for an F150? Holy crap I don’t see the point anymore. That’s going to be $15k per year in depreciation.

70 for a lariat? Lmao
Trucks are definitely getting overpriced, but if you compare it to say a Denali, which isn’t as nice, they’re priced right.
Lol poweeboost hybrid f150 is the ram, GMC and Chevy killer.
The eb 3.5l alone kills ram, etc. you haven’t driven either, huh?
