i recently found your channel and have been literally bingeing your videos bc your cadence of talking is very calming so you've gotten me through work and also have given me some good recommendations 👀 very happy to be here!! 📚
You put into words exactly how I felt about this book. Really strong debut, TRUE enemies to lovers, occasionally a tiny bit confusing/muddled but I read it a month ago and have read many books since and I keep thinking about the Jasad Heir!
I saw other book tubers say they hated Sword Catcher. I read it based on your comments and I really enjoyed it, can't wait for the second book. I have Jasad Heir on my shelf, I guess it's moving up on my TBR. 😊
I get so excited when you post vlogs !!! I will definitely be adding this to the tbr , also read bear and nightingale trilogy because of you and LOVED it
How we all clean our house before our mom visits! Love it! ❤ You don't need to vlog when you have people coming over. Enjoy spending time together. Vlog/work can be on hold for a while. Every new reading vlog from Reagan is a diamant ✨☺️
I also JUST finished The Jasad Heir and the slow burn was DELICIOUS to me. This is what I desperately need from so much romantasy. And the cliffhanger ending??? I need the second book yesterday.
I'm a new follower, but after watching this last week I promptly went to the library, checked it out and am now halfway through! Such a fantastic read.
Please read what YOU are interested in. If you hear a bad review, give it a try. My bestie read a book and hated it. It was my number 1 book last year 😊
The book did things to my taste when it came to the romance, but I didn't exactly ship it. But I would live for the drama if they were enemies next book. Coz I enjoyed their enemies dynamic in this book. I also like Sylvia. Inside her tough exterior, there's a lot of love for her found family.
I bought this book because you got it in a haul you did so now I'm even MORE excited to read it! There's no release date for book 2 yet but the Internet says it's a duology!😊 She does have a new book coming October 1st that sounds really good that's set in modern times but there's family secrets, possession, all kinds of good stuff! It's called Where No Shadow Stays. Thank again for another great vlog!!😉
I feel the same about romance in books. The occasionally whirlwind romance is fine, but the slow burn is so much deeper and the build of tension between characters leads to a much better pay off. You’d probably like The Emperor’s Edge series. It’s got a great cast of characters and a slow burn as well!
That book is absolutely excellent and definitely slow burn 🔥 in every way possible! As soon as I finished I immediately went to my Bookstagram and asked the author ✍️ if she wrote absolutely anything else! I gave this a rave review and cannot wait for more in this series!!!!
Not gonna lie, your negative review of ACOSF is what made me finally break down and read the whole ACOTAR series… which I loved. Different people like different things. I really dislike how some parts of booktube/booktok act like liking or disliking certain books makes you a bad reader🤷♀️
Hey Reagan I hope this message finds you healthy and happy. I need to ask you a question about the Bradley Beaulieu books I saw you reading I think maybe last year. I am on the fourth one and my interest is dying quickly. Did you finish the series and did you enjoy the rest of the books?
Definitely added to my TBR! I'm curious if you've read All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace? I've just finished it and has really become one of my all time favs! Literally can't wait to read it again lol🤣🤣
Regan, have you ever read the Kushiel's Dart series (Kushiel's Dart, Kushiel's Chosen, and Kushiel's Avatar) by Jacqueline Carey? It's my all-time favorite adult fantasy series and I've never heard any book tuber talk about it. It's an old series but has some of the most beautiful writing. It's about a courtesan trained to be a spy for her benefactor but she ends up becoming a spy for the royal line to try to save the realm. She's guarded by a warrior monk from a brotherhood of monks who are the finest warriors in the land and who traditionally guard the royals. Their relationship grows beautifully over the Trilogy. Please check it out. You are my favorite book tuber; I'd love to know what you think/see a video on it. This series deserves so much more attention than it gets. Sorry for the long post.
I love a good slow burn romance, i HATE insta-love, it’s makes me want to vomit. That is why i absolutely LOVED Emily and Wendell’s character building. Also, as someone whose first name is Emilyann, when someone starts calling you “Em” and you didn’t ask them to, it’s super touching and you can feel yourself growing closer to that person. Dare i say i was able to put myself in her shoes? Needless to say, i can’t wait to read Map of The Otherlings!
I wonder if this book is a good choice for someone like me who isn't very sentimental, and doesn't enjoy super corny/mushy love scenes?? I'd like to find a really good romance, but I'm so picky. lol
Dune is a great book! I have the first and second with sprayed edges. ACOSF by SJM has the training aspect. You’d need to read the other books first, though. I’m currently reading ACOSF and I’m in love! It’s sooooooooo good!
i agree that the first half of the book was pretty good! but the second half completely fell flat for me. the enemies to lovers development became really rushed towards the end without sufficient explanation/reasoning as to why they suddenly like each other
I don't know if you read these two books (fantasy romance with slow burn love) yet but I highly recommend 1) One Dark Window and 2) Powerless!! The slow burn romance burnt me 🤌
This book has been on my TBR since it came out last year!!! You just convinced me to pick it up it sounds just like my thing!!! Pls the need for a good slow burn romantasy is real🤌
I read this book love the cover the story is outstanding and amazing beautiful The Jasad Heir 🌼💕💜💕🌼🌼🧡💚💚🦋🌺🌹🌹📙📖📚📖📖📖📖📚📚📚📖🌺🦋💚💚💜💜💕🌼🌷💛💛💛🌈🌈🦋💚💚🦋🌺🪻🪻🌸🌸🩷❤️📖📚📖📙🌸🦋🩵💚💜💕💕

Thank you for watching!
That's really nice Larry. Welcome
I've missed..."Isn't that right, Clay.?" 😂 I think I will pick this book up
The Jasad Heir was one of my favorite reads of last year! I did not expect to love it as much as I did.
I've never heard of this book, but as soon as I saw slow burn in the video title, I knew I would pick it up. I'm so excited!
You put into words exactly how I felt about this book. Really strong debut, TRUE enemies to lovers, occasionally a tiny bit confusing/muddled but I read it a month ago and have read many books since and I keep thinking about the Jasad Heir!
I was extremely impressed to find out this is also the author’s debut novel!
Never heard of this book but it sounds like it’s up my alley!
I read this last year and had a great time! I keep checking for when the sequel will come out
I saw other book tubers say they hated Sword Catcher. I read it based on your comments and I really enjoyed it, can't wait for the second book. I have Jasad Heir on my shelf, I guess it's moving up on my TBR. 😊

I’m a recent subscriber and I love your channel! I’m part way through The Book That Wouldn’t Burn thru your recommendation and I looove it 😍
Clay and Matilda featured 🎉🎉🎉
You make this book sound so lovely ❤❤ and I loved the "frantically clean before mother arrives" 😂😂
I think you might like Taste of Iron and Gold if you liked this book. It is a very very slow burn historical bodyguard queer romantasy...
I loved A Taste of Gold and Iron, the romance was deliciously slow burn!
I have this book on my shelf, waiting to be read lol
Second this!! It’s SO good
Yes, I loved this book. A Strange and Stubborn Endurance by Foz Meadows is similar too!
It’s awesome that the training portion is drawn out so much. Excited to read this one!
32:03 I love your sweater! 💕
Thank you for reading this book! I didnt want to read it because of the bad reviews but i have special edition from illumicrate and now I'm hyped :)
Please read what YOU are interested in. If you hear a bad review, give it a try. My bestie read a book and hated it. It was my number 1 book last year 😊
Yes you're right ! I get so easily influenced by reviews :)! Going to read it after finishing my current read.
I’ve got this one on my TBR and haven’t heard anything about it! So excited to read it now!
You definitely sold me on The Jasad Heir. I couldn't have added it to my tbr any faster! Lol
Adding Jasad Heir to my tbr! It sounds awesome
This sounds incredible! Just the new kind of location (Egypt) for a fantasy sounds like a great idea. ✨
The book did things to my taste when it came to the romance, but I didn't exactly ship it. But I would live for the drama if they were enemies next book. Coz I enjoyed their enemies dynamic in this book.
I also like Sylvia. Inside her tough exterior, there's a lot of love for her found family.
Never heard about this book but it sounds so good and I LOVE ennemies to lovers AND slow burn !!
I bought this book because you got it in a haul you did so now I'm even MORE excited to read it! There's no release date for book 2 yet but the Internet says it's a duology!😊

I ate this book up!! so good and such an interesting world
That book is absolutely excellent and definitely slow burn 🔥 in every way possible! As soon as I finished I immediately went to my Bookstagram and asked the author ✍️ if she wrote absolutely anything else! I gave this a rave review and cannot wait for more in this series!!!!
5:07 would you mind terribly sharing what paint color that green is in the background? I’m looking for a green for my bedroom, and I love that!

Ahh I just started this book, I really like it so far!
Definitely added to my TBR! I'm curious if you've read All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace? I've just finished it and has really become one of my all time favs! Literally can't wait to read it again lol🤣🤣
Even though this book was not for me, I still love your vlog about it haha
Again, recommend Veronica Speedwell series 😅
Are you planning to check out the Dune book at all? I would be all for an update about what you thought of the second movie!
100% agree- banana pudding is, in fact, one of the best inventions of all time, no, we are not accepting arguments at this time.
🤙 ❤
I'm beyond ready for nicer weather so I can sit outside and read, I'm so jealous lol
I like a slow burn. The slowest burn is the series The Others. Ill try this. ✨
you HAVE to read The Crown of Oaths and Curses by J. Bree. It's really a TRUE enemie to lovers. This book is amazing!!!
I picked up Jisad in the Kindle. I was sold on old Egyptian world.
Please read Yumi and the Nightmare Painter, I think you’d love it! 😌

Did you read the Dune books? I wanna read them so bad
I think you could maybe like "Powerless". (Although I think it is YA).
I’ve never been sold a book this well
every time I watch one of your videos my TBR list grows 🥲🫶🏻
You sold me!
Have you read Steven Demogorgon book?
Kushiel’s dart & series, super slow burn
I’ve heard this!!
I might be slow burn, but read trigger warnings. I liked it fine but 🤷♀️
where’s your green and white striped sweater from? :)
My guess is Madewell
Sumo orange supremacy
📚❤️
Dune is a great book! I have the first and second with sprayed edges.

I def agree the second half pacing felt rushed
So jealous you can sit outside and read right now 😭
I love a slow burn, but I prefer queer romance.
I don't know if you read these two books (fantasy romance with slow burn love) yet but I highly recommend 1) One Dark Window and 2) Powerless!! The slow burn romance burnt me 🤌
