I think Chimaira really set a standard for "hard-core fan devotion" by releasing so many DVDs and documentaries with their music. Few bands have as consistently satisfying a catalogue of dvd/doc/records. Taking in all their content always left me feeling like a part of the band in some way. It caused me to invest more energy and hope in seeing them continue to succeed AND And I'll gladly experience and support more! 🙏

So glad to see Jim doing good. I've always like your guys dynamic together you both just look so comfortable sitting back and talking almost like you weren't in front of a camera. I hold a special place in my heart for Jim cause at ozzfest 2003 while waiting in line to get autographs from the band they were handing out shot glasses with chimaira on them and as they handed them out Jim saw that unfortunately I didn't get one and as I went to get my stuff signed he took a shot glass out of his pocket and was like here man have mine i'll just get another one. One of my best memories.
Rob, I've been watching your videos for a couple months now, and I have to say, seeing you with your old bandmates is super cool. I dont know any of you, but I just get a good vibe from all of these videos, like old friends coming together and picking up where they left off. This also inspired me to tell you a story about Chimira that will always stick with me. I think it was in 2003, my friend Quinten used to burn a lot of CDs for our friends in high school. One day he brought me The Impossibility of Reason and was like "dude, you gotta check this out, I think you're going to love it!" At the time, the heaviest band I was into was Fear Factory, and I'll never forget the first time I listened to that record, I was blown away. The riffs and solos were all killer, but what really stuck out to me were the drums. Anyway, I used to play a lot of hacky sack with my buddies after school, I had a crappy stereo system in my car, so I would put this record on, roll the windows down, and crank it up. We would all listen to it start to finish multiple times a day, multiple days a week. We all loved it and were always fascinated with the drummer and just how fucking heavy that record was. That record helped push me down the extreme metal path and become a drummer. I will always cherish Chimera and TIoR, so just wanted to tell you my stilly little story and thank you for putting out cool content.

I always loved Jim's stage presence and then he was always so friendly. Through knowing you guys, especially Jim, I got networked with some really cool musicians. I will never forget getting a message from Kevin Tally telling me that Jim told him to get a hold of me if he needed anything. Kevin asked me if I wanted to try out for DAATH but I couldn't make it down to Georgia for the tryout. Thank you Jim and all of Chimaira for such great times and memories!

I saw Chimaira in Newastle, England, I think with Killswitch, I was elitist teen into Death Metal and I bumped fists with Jim after the set, I've loved Chimaira ever since, you guys were so good, it was like listening to a CD.
Loved watching this😁You guys were touring for impossibility and you were soundchecking "stigmurder".mark was running the sound board so I jumped on stage and started ripping the vocals."you cannot fuck with me but you have in the past".thats all I got in before mark killed the mic.😄ive always made it a point to connect with my musical heroes.Too many to count and have chopped it up with you guys many times.you guys were all so humble and kind.true fucking gentleman that always took the time and for me it was greatly appreciated.Getting to talk specifics with your fav bands is magical brother.Thank you for that and thank you for making these videos.

Jim started the opening of six and it reminded me that I’ve wondered if the opening of six was drawn off of the ending of pray for all. Both songs are among my favorites but the groove that the opening riff carries for six is so sick.

I met Jim twice. First was at sunset station in San Antonio. It was killswitch, you guys and dragon force. The second time at the white rabbit. It was with all that remains winter of 07. He told me both times, don’t get a girlfriend until you are really rich or old. I appreciate him so much.

I've seen you guys a lot in the 2000's .. my favorite was in Green Bay when you guys toured with Hatebreed and Dying Fetus. I saw the Slayer, Slipknot, Disturbed arena shows, but the little clubs .. were maximum face melters! The Great Northern Trendkill tour!!! Jim LaMarca: A Scholar and a Gentleman.

I thought Jim was just working at the shop after recently rediscovering Chimaira and your channel, but he OWNS the place! Jim always gave off a "no fucks given" vibe and mocking the tryhard attitude, but he's hustling like crazy, it seems. I saw Chimaira in Newastle, England, I think with Killswitch, I was elitist teen into Death Metal and I bumped fists with Jim after the set, I've loved Chimaira ever since, you guys were so good, it was like listening to a CD.

I met Jim twice. First was at sunset station in San Antonio. It was killswitch, you guys and dragon force. The second time at the white rabbit. It was with all that remains winter of 07. He told me both times, don’t get a girlfriend until you are really rich or old. I appreciate him so much.

I've seen you guys a lot in the 2000's .. my favorite was in Green Bay when you guys toured with Hatebreed and Dying Fetus. One of you Chimaira (Jim, Andols, Mark were outside) guys has the tape of us doing Snow-Angels in the middle of a snowy road in Niagara Falls, NY during the Resurrection tour with Killswitch.
