Legit probably the nicest, non toxic community in gaming. Have you ever played Valheim? It has an amazing building mechanic, and what you create is only limited by your imagination. Would finding another paradise planet and doing a complete subscriber town/city build be in the future of this channel? I think that would be badass.
I've done some Valheim, yep! Loved it :) And yeah, I like the idea of doing a community build. That sounds fun!
Love your laid back style of presenting your videos and streams! its always great to see someone enjoy this game of ours! Hello Games have done a fantastic job getting it to where it is now! Welcome from a member of the UK community!!
Much appreciated!
NMS has always had a great community, the vast majority of players are helpful and generous. There ARE a few bad apples, but thankfully they're rare.
Been amazing so far
@@Renfail If I'm online, feel free to hit me up sometime, look for Conner McCrea the Immortal, I think I still have an Activated Indium mine in one of the galaxies you can use whenever you need units.
That was me...I left the gameplay loop list....And I am sure I missed a bunch of things on it. CAN'T wait for "Light no Fire"
Will be fun
It's a great community I'm proud to be a part of and always great to see a content creator enjoying this game looking forward to more streams
Welcome aboard!
I still can't believe you got that planet ❤ it is soooo beautiful !!! I'm glad you are enjoying the game. For us, long-time players, especially we day 1 peeps, it is really a pleasure seeing new players enjoy the game ❤
I love it!
We're glad to have you as a fellow Traveler Ren :) So glad you are enjoying the game and that I stumbled upon your streams. There are so many wonderful and talented NMS players and streamers.
Awesome, thank you!
NMS is the best community ive been a part of and i like watching new people play and enjoy NMS. Its an amazing game and you can tell that Hello Games loves what they created (NMS) and that they love their community. They've come a long way since launch.
indeed they have
Look forward to seeing your progress in your underwater base over time. Something about being the one who discovered the planet is what makes this game special. The pacing of the game is entirely up to you.
Hell yes
Your channel came onto my radar with Baldurs Gate 3, you've got me back into No Mans Sky.
To me this (like Valheim) is such a chilled out and cosy game. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Great content.👍
Thanks for sticking around!
I've played NMS since release and loved it from the start it's great to see yourself and all the new people discovering it and seeing Hello games visions come to life. Be sure that there's much more to come and I hope you check out each update.
Cheers
Been playing for a few years and its been astounding to watch this game grow with every (free) update. The creativity and curiosity of this community is unmatched. Always love watching new people enjoy our universes
it's amazing!
So glad you're having a good time with this game! I'm currently trying to get used to using a controller rather than the keyboard and mouse. Bad arthritis makes that combo painful. Figured I would start with a freighter remodel since I've been meaning to that for a while..less things to kill me or damage my ship there, while I get used to the change.
Enjoy. I love the controller
It's been a pleasure to join you on your journey.
I think that with the nature of how you play games, NMS is going to be a great experience for you in the years to come. With the way they steadily update the game, for me anyway, being able to pop in and out over the years, always having a little something new while being able to revisit the parts I enjoy has been a fantastic experience.
Seems like it!
I have to agree with you. It's one of the best communities I've ever seen in a game with multiplayer elements. There are so many people who are enthusiastic about the game, they really go out of their way to help new people.
Right!?
Construction messed my back up so bad I don't get to play much. Sometimes a standing desk extension helps. Have fun adventuring.
Cheers
I’ve really enjoyed your vids. I booted up the game last night started a new save and got far as building my first cube base! I discovered a planetary archive and started learning words of a language, I had no idea languages were in the game!
Yeah!
im glad you are having a great time with nms always good to see new players discovering this game i have seen loads of new players in starter ships in the anomaly its so gratifying to see it and worlds pt 2 will be the next update we dont know what there gonna do on top of pt1 but its exciting times coming to nms also look out for light no fire in the near future that game has an amazing ideas to look forward to
Can't wait
Glad you are enjoying the game, the community for nms is awesome, (well some), you definitely need to try and jump to another galaxy because we have 256, get all your portal glyphs and use portal travel, raid a derelict freighter, do dreams of the deep, try the expeditions, faction missions, go ship hunting, the list goes on, remember the community is here to help if you need it
All the things!
It's been a great ride! I probably wouldn't have found your channel without the NMS streams, and while I might not watch other games you play as much I'll be around for the long run. And of course your other channel has been fascinating and helpful
It's all good :)
Glad ur liking it Ren, and the landscape behind is amazing
Cheers
Welcome to one of the best gaming communities 🎉
Cheers
I havent played in a couple years, awesome game, u gonna make me jump back in lol, i used to run cargo, from one system to the other, every system needs a certain type of materials, so u get those materials from other systems, load up full cargo of certain high priced items and take them to the system where they are needed, u can make a bunch of money doing this, dont know if its different now. Thanks for playing Nms, you've inspired me lol
Cheers!
I started last week for the first time. So much fun. I have so much to learn
Welcome
It’s been great seeing you start your journey into this game and welcome to this awesome community of travelers!
Thank you so much!
I've been playing NMS since 2019. Over the years, I developped an extensive knowledge of the game and its various systems. And as time went on, I gradually lost that sense of marvel that the game offers, which I suppose comes with the territory when you have over 3700 hours of game time on a single game. which is not to say that the game doesn't surprise me still, from time to time, with something I hadn't quite seen before.
To regain some of that sense of wonder however, there was a period of time when I would go on NMS streams of newcomers and help them figure out the basics of the game that it - the game - sometimes does a middle-of-the-road job at explaining.
I've helped out so many players in gaining an understanding of NMS that, I've essentially turned my teaching method into a science at this point. And one of the things that I do, is mostly keep quiet, because to me, teaching a newcomer about NMS essentially boils down to knowing what to say and when to say it, and more importantly, when to keep quiet and what information to not reveal or when to reveal it.
Knowing that takes quite an extensive knowledge of the game's systems and the timing of those in-game revelations. My favourite moments are always when I give just that one little bit of advice, and then keep quiet, and see it spark a whole sense of wander in the player's mind, and snowballing from there. I wouldn't trade that for the world. One of my main pet peaves are people who - while they mean well - will freely hand out ressources that bypass the player's need for exploration and effort. I understand that it comes from a good place, but I find the reward of exploration much more gratifying than, say, suddenly being handed a billion units. And I've always tried to tailor my approach to teaching the game, in accordance with that philosophy.
Seeing new players come to play No Man's Sky never gets old to me, and I hope many more people play it in future. As for me, I suppose the next big project will be learning how to light no fire...
Can't wait
You're most welcome. NMS is one of the least toxic community. Long time players are in for the exploration, basically contemplating scenery, there's no pvp, it's not competitive... you have all the ingredients for a very welcoming community. Everybody wants to share discoveries, tips, knowledge of any kind. That's why I always stick with NMS, and only hang out on NMS discords.
very groovy!
You're welcome Fellow Traveler.
Thx
I love the NMS community. Most people are pretty eager to help out others. Since I hit the cap on units (money) and pretty much geared out all my ships, I like to fill up a hauler with stacks of valuables and give them away at the nexus to anyone who needs money. If I could give out money, I'd do that, but valuable cargo is the next best thing. I also have a huge activated Indium farm and I let people take as much as they can carry to go sell for units. Sadly, they kinda nerfed the Activated Indium a while back, but not before I made about 4 billion units farming and selling selling the stuff, lol. Spread the wealth, travelers!
I've been playing for 7 year off and on and I've learned a couple of things during your videos.
Nice!
My man 👍, working construction I feel ya it gets draining
You got that right!
We like making to help people have fun in the game that we love!
Thanks!
I must admit, I felt pretty chuffed to see 2 of my tips made your 10 tips for beginners video. 😁
I gave you the hit X to split the stack tip and make sure you scan to get the 2nd resource tip.
I obviously didn't give the tips to get a pat on the back, I just love seeing other people appreciating the game and if I can make their experience easier I'll do it..... which is very common in the NMS community. Like you have already noticed how generous random players can be in the Anomoly, the NMS community is the best of all the games I've played.
Good times!
Using this one is a fantastic way to keep your stuff organized as you're not creating holes everytime you need to use something that just get filled up by the next random thing you throw into storage.
You can also use left or right on the Dpad to lower/increase a stack by 10(1 if less than 10) respectively.
The NMS community is indeed amazing. If you don't mind me dropping some names, you will want to check out Floury Squirrel (Living Ships and more), Ricey's Starship Emporium (ship hunting and community finds in discord) and if you really want to see a master when it comes to building, you have to check out Action Pants Gaming... His builds will blow your mind, The ultimate Glitch Builder. Also on Friday's every week we hold a community night, We give away ship parts, in game items and custom made pets, so feel free to join us and get to meet other members of the community.
Drop all the names you like. It's more R&D for me!
@@Renfail We would love to see you at community night. Ricey will have the information on the next one.
We Love Hello Games, yes it was a dreadful release in 2016, but they have made the game so much better since 2020 with every update and NEVER charged the community for any update EVER!!! For that NMS and Hello Games continue to have our loyalty and when Light no Fire comes out, we will probably all jump in on day one.
Gonna be lit 🤪 🔥
And again welcome to nms community
welcome traveler
Thanks
The creator of No Man's Sky teased another /three/ updates on his twitter account yesterday, FYI.
nice!
LESSS GOOO
Indeed
We out here in space, fam!
indeed!
One tip I would give. Turn on multiplayer, but turn off the ability for others to pvp or edit your base to avoid shenanigans. Truly what makes this game shine is going to some distant solar system and finding an abandoned base from 5 years ago with a message, or bumping into players on some remote journey. It makes the universe feel alive. I only play solo, but with multiplayer on it feels like a thriving reality. And ultimately it motivates you to go to more far out places because when you do end up tired of seeing others, you know its time to jump to some far off star to start fresh.
Yep
😂 he already learned this the hard way when exploring community bases last week.
@@Lordoftheapes79 for real lol
I just start playing like a week a go, I go into streams of veteran players to get some tips. Almost all of them claims that the community is helpful to a fault. No truer word have been uttered
it's been pretty amazing so far.
I can’t understand gatekeepers. I have over 2000+ hours in game and still learning new stuff all the time.
right?!
Just wondering if nms runs better on series x or ps5.
Both
It's pretty much the same. There are little variances because of things like Playstation doing the lighting from the console side, but for the most part, playing on console is playing on console(except Switch, that's a different thing).
