Yeah, you can get a better pull out of some of the Rip it or Keep it cards, like John says, r/baseballcards, some people have had luck, I think I would struggle with ripping a numbered card already!!!

I just don't get the appeal behind these rip cards. You're destroying an already rare pull for a chance at something better or worse, but if you don't destroy it you're locked out of ever finding out what you pulled. Just drives me nuts and I hope I never get one
If you stick a flaslight on the back of the card you can see what kind of cards you are getting.May not br able to see the exact player but at least the parrallel.Tough one man 😊

If you’re gonna use eBay as a guide to go by then I advise you to actually learn how eBay actually works dude.. What they’re going for means nothing. When u look at sold and there’s a line thru it and it says best offer accepted, it’s not the same as the price listed.. smh.. Wonder how much money you’ve wasted by not knowing this..

Just to let you know the ripped rip cards are of value lol they aren't crap. We all follow eBay and what not but as long as there is a price system (Beckett) then it's got a value.

Cracks me up when people gingerly tear into these thinking they could salvage it. NO! That card is finished the moment you tear it. Just rip it open and be done with it!
Not an awful choice at all. Obviously the wrong choice, but only in hindsight. Sometimes in life, you just have to rip it, even if you lose.

You can actually tell what the cards are without ripping it by using a flashlight against the card in the dark!

Look on the bright side...by ripping that one open you just increased the value of the ones that are still pristine. =)
This was just insane, that's how they get you on this stuff, great video, its all about the luck when it comes to the rip it or keep it card.....
Use a bright flashlight in a dark room and you can see who's in them before you open them.

tip : high numbered rip cards will never have anything good most of the time. they have to be numbered 10 or less for the autos mot of the time

That guy was selling the unrippe Cal Ripken for $185...which means if you wanted to sell it you would get $185 or less. So not a huge loss.
