Just a couple of saturdays ago I was drinking heavily as usual and playing soloQ. I'm usually ranked LE, but on this kind of evenings I can go a rank down. Which I did once again. But I had nothing planned for the next day, so I decided to get my hidden emergency-extra-bottle and go all-in.
From this poing it gets a bit blurry. I just hear AWP-shots booming, the AK's rattling, mixed in with the stupid anime-music no-one listens to in a normal state of mind. I wake up with my face on the keyboard, drooling all over it, feeling like the worst person on earth. Looking at my new steam-name and profile picture, it only adds to this feeling. But later that day I open up csgo and I don't believe my eyes. Supreme Master First Class. Looking at the GOTV-demos I saw not a person, but a god. I glance at the demo-chat and a message pops up, from my account. "Next time it's global."

No, not you too... You seem to understand statistics. Consider this: how do you know if a person is russian? When he can't speak english, doesn't give calls because of that, or yells at you in russian which is the definition of bad in CSGO. But if a russian plays well, gives calls and communicates in English (i.e. is being a good teammate), how would you know he's russian? Well, you might check his Steam page, but many of my friends set their country to something else so that they don't get yelled at for being russian even before the game starts.
In short: you only notice russians when they are annoying, that's why there's such a bad image of them in CSGO community.
There might be another option: you get in a team with four russians and they speak russian between themselves. Well, what do you expect them to do? It's their first language, more comfortable for them, and they are in a majority! Personally I still give calls in English even if there is only one english-speaking teammate.
And yes, I understand that this is a joke video, just not everybody else does.

I've had the G400 for 3 years, and now the G402 (same shape as philip's mx518), but I've always struggled with the cable...
no matter how I tape it down or align it, it will always be more distracting than having no wire, so if someone like philip can confirm, that a modern wireless mouse's (sensei) and an older wired's (mx518) tracking capabilities are not that far apart, I might actually start saving up...
When I'm in a clutch situation, my heart doesn't start pounding until the next round, when the situation is over. But if I'm even a little bit drunk, my heart starts pounding during the clutch situation and makes focusing a lot harder. It's pretty funny, really.

One of the people in the ESL tournament earlier this year was 17, he had an American/Canadian accent which doesn't fit with the drinking age.
People now adays in cs:go want humor in their videos and with the rising popularity of "Going Low in CSGO" the more people that watch 2kliksphilip. I'd say most of that humor is children that don't even care about the game that much.

Well I'm not sure if I understood you correctly but my comment was more about many people drinking before even being the legal age. In my home country the legal age for drinking beer is 16 and for drinking booze is 18. But from my personal experience, most people start drinking alcohol at about 14. At least me and basically all of my friends did back then. Don't know about other regions of the world though.
PS: Alcohol is incredibly overrated.

Lol you guys don't know the real start here. I'll tell you this story on how I am lem right now. my steam name is Preach ツ if you want confirmation and there's probably a million preaches but my description says E.T which is my initials. So I'm only 14 BTW. I had a 5 day weekend so I did a all night error with csgo. I was ranking and was MG. I was trying to get to master guardian elite. I was hungry and sleepy so I snuck downstairs got some grapes, chocolate, and a Gatorade. I was playing until I ran out of chocolate and Gatorade and got tired. So I decided to eat the grapes I bought with me. Little did I know eating too much grapes can get you drunk...so I ate and ate and ate. I woke up and it was a 6:32 and I'm in the league of Legends's login screen for some reason. I looked and all the grapes were gone. I decided to play one more game to all east get mg2 and then pop. Le. Then a few days later I did it again and I got lem. If your underage just eat all the grapes.
I once got home from a party, and wanted to watch some netflix before going to bed, but my friends called me on skype and forced me to play CS:GO. It was so funny, but I got kicked for doing too much team damage at round 7
Ive had the same thing happen but on a much lower scale when not sleeping, you know that stage when you stay up for 30+ and your screen is no longer a screen but just colours that move, I even managed to get to gold master before I got de ranked, usually my scores are even with my kdr being around 1-1, but once I got it to 16-1 after not sleeping for about 2 days.
Once I got home from a partying with cocaine alcohol weed everything was completely fucked up, got to my bedroom and went to play a League of Legends game as Master yi, went to sleep after it, it was a ranked game with 29/0/0 frag victory lol
I'm not sure about the fourth stage but drinking can lower your heart rate making you calm and more accurate(why alcohol is banned at shooting competitions) so stage 1 is probably explainable cause of that.
well if you're drowning in sweat just from playing deathmatch then alcohol does help, but I would mix it with other hallucinogenic substances just to make sure
