Dear sir Writing this my kind email to you to say congratulations for clearing out the old a abandoned 22:49 hut in the woods on your own l would of said how nice it would of been if you could of had it fully restored and turned it nto your very own home
What you said was just like reading a "Thank you". I'm an old man who goes out and removes plastic things from the "Back Cove" here where I live in Maine. People will stop their walking on the trail just above me while I'm fishing out bits just to say "Thank you for doing that", and it not only encourages me more, but also makes the work more bearable. It makes my day feel better, too. Yes, give some honest credit where credit is due, just like you did.
The mess that someone left? The cabin looks abandoned to me. He didn't clean it up, he just moved the trash around. I'll bet that cabin was nice in its heyday before it was abandoned for whatever reason, most likely its builder died, or got too old to trek there. I certainly would not sleep in that nasty thing with the way he did Not clean it.
@@deirdrepasko9056 He pulled down the parts that were decrepit and placed quite a bit of filth in a plastic bag. He only shared what he did in order to eat and sleep there that night. Give the poor guy a break. My guess would be that he did more that what he showed us later on. Some things take time. He wanted to share a quick video was all. He did more that just move trash around. He will leave it a much better place, a better place until it falls down at least anyways. What would you have done instead, break out the paint cans and vacuum cleaner?
You provide others hope and encouragement to see the value in things unseen for its "poor value". A home is where the heart and mind are, they say. Home? My guess would be that you included that sweet little doll because it was once a loved ones, that they either left you are gave you to remind you of them so you wont feel all alone. It says something about your heart. What your heart still has there within it. "Maine"(USA) says "hello. Thank you for sharing all you did, too.
@@nancysmith9425 Thank you for the compliment, Nancy. I needed to hear something nice this cloudy day we're having, with rains on the horizon coming our way. I'm a man who has filled up his small apartment with vintage memories, memories of my family, my friends, of fun in the sun by our swimming pool, and at the parks and bowling alleys. That's why I said what I had regarding the doll brought along with him. I might be wrong, but I'd bet a good arm I'm right. "Maine" says "hello" and hopes your day is going well and good for you. May God receive glory in abundance! Extra measure even!
I always find it remarkable how some people in their travels in the forests or snows do like to DINE. They don't just fix some grub and eat it, they try to make the experience nice and homey whether by placing a cherished doll on the table or hand drawn artwork of wildlife on the walls. It says alot about making the whole life journey an experience to savor and enjoy. Thank you for leading us on your journeys. You are amazing. ❤

I came across a really old log barn? The roof was mostly there and it had some junk in it with some old tools that I use to fix the roof and door and stayed the night
Hi friends watching from United States In the state of Massachusetts 🎉. Wanna say you're amazing dude how you just transform that little cabin 🙏 Blessing Brother . I watching and learning
I would have added the use of a busy end of a branch to sweep that floor. No telling the crawly things under all that broken wood . Good job cleaning from what it started out as.
I'd be checking for bear scat ,also eating inside is not a good idea where do you go if a hungry bear comes through the front door,,oh that's right there is no front door, but having said all that like the little troll that I am ,I must say I like what you did with the place,
Quel courage ! Je ne félicite pas ceux qui ont laissé cette cabane dans un tel état ! Ce garçon a du mérite de l'avoir déblayée au mieux. Espérons que les randonneurs successifs feront de même !
I watched this video for what it is. A sweet, quiet, interesting little video. I don't care about the missing noun. I enjoy listening to the sounds, and wondering what he'll do next. I don't care if it's in anyone's yard, or about the mold, spiders and other bugs, because I don't have to stay there. I can just let my imagination go, and enjoy the work someone else is doing. ❤
I have had a dream for years about an old cabin-house and I would go in and kinda hang out. I remember I was always weary about being there because I was afraid owner would discover me there I got caught by the owner a middle aged farmer and owner and was threatened by him for tresspassing. I just had another latest dream that I was in there again well knowing I could get busted again. Its strange that I keep coming to that old house. The dreams are not often. Maybe I have had 5 or 6 dreams of returning there.
I think maybe he left out a word on purpose...so who ever can make up there own conclusion. Like cabin, hut, shake, abandoned dwelling...😊 I like the title.
the only thing that would be questionable would be his toxic air quality but over all it’s a roof over his head more safer and warmer than any tent he may have brought with him.
It must be hell to be wandering alone in the forest. Good thing the forest has those video cameras all over the place and a stray cabin here and there.
Why don't you go back to this hut which you cleared in the woods and get it fully restored with some friends as your very own home all you need is a new roof and you need to get the windows closed and locked and you need an electron to put you a light rose up so that you can have a light bulb in and you need a joiner to fit you a front door and key lock in so when you go out you can lock up safely and you need a shower and hot water and cold water supplied to your own home in the woods at least you would be safe and secure at night watching the creatures playing and hunting for food
Hello my name is Diane Boles from kisatchie Louisiana I really enjoyed your videos but I wish you would talk to us please consider talking to us God bless you and keep putting out videos
Yes he is a weekend warrior. If you want to see some real off grid content, there some good ones. Some of them are living off grid but still using modern methods and modern tools, yet still living off grid. Then there are some hardcore off grid homesteaders. I would like to think I’m the more modern type. Using solar power when possible but backed up by generator/generators, having more than one in case one goes down. When it’s below -0 F, you can survive on wood heat but when you have chickens or livestock of any kind( mostly small) you have to keep them alive also. You can grow most of your food whether it’s plant or animal. Although you most likely have to supplement your stores with extra of both and things like salt, sugar, flour, yeast and cooking oil even though you can use animal fat for most things. You will also need things like gas, oil, antifreeze, batteries and some power tools. Hand tools are essential but if you have a chainsaw you need a sharpening tool and chains if you have a saw mill( most homesteaders do have them), then you will need blades and sharpener for that. If you’re going to build your own house, barn, chicken house( I don’t mean a chicken coop like a regular house), it would have to be insulated and animal proof, with some sort of heat. There’s more to it than one would think but if you plan everything correctly and learn easily on the fly,it’s doable. Just Sayin !
👍 God bless you 🤗 🍀 💕

Give him credit for cleaning up the mess someone left. Now it'll be a lot better for those who come after him.
You don't believe this?

You are a very kind person to fix the little hut up and thinking about other travelers that might use it also!
Good job young man. A decent place to rest for the night. Good for you.

THANK YOU FOR TRANSFORMING THIS HUT. SOMEDAY IT WILL HAVE ANOTHER CARING TRAVELLER!!❤
I love the ginger doll. She's cute. She adds a nice touch to the story telling content.
It is enjoyable watching you clean up and do your own thing. Well done young man .

Takes imagination, but for one night, what do you need? Clean it and sleep!
No
For someone in need of shelter from the elements it looks like a lil palace dont judge a book by its cover

When I was young, I would move into old houses for a day or two. I dont know why they prevent homeless people to move in.

Who is filming? A lot of hard work to spend one night. I'm sure the next person who comes across the cabin will appreciate all your hard work.
Hope you don’t get really sick from all the mold you inhaled. Good job for all the hard work you did. Very admirable 👋🇨🇦
That was a really worthwhile job you occupied yourself with. Quite entertaining and informative. I enjoyed the video very much, so thank you. 😀

Very resourceful guy give him credit
Love this video. And love that beautiful doll. ❤️❤️❤️
Yes, credit it due to this guy!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Congratulations 🍾 ..
My first priority would be to cover the roof with a tarp Poland to make it watertight
Yup, they've got em at home depot.
Wow! This guy is amazing. I'd rather read about him any day than all the stars and athletes.

You are so mean😮
💥💥💥That's his Uncles back yard shed. Note all the fresh wood cuts. He has a unique building style. No doubt, you built that bed. Food looked awesome!!
Love this video. Awesome!! 😊 I like that you used your knife to open the can, my daddy used to that. ❤
Good thing he had those black trash bags. I always carry trash bags with me when I go hiking in the deep forest.🤣
Respect!👍🏼
What a great video!
So awesome that you picked the trash up!
Wish all people going out would be so tidy!
I subscribe!🍀
I may have done a little more cleaning but your out of the wind and staying warm and feed good little stop
Heck yeah I can fix that up and live there
Yes, lots of bushcrafters could, and far better than what this guy did.

Smart to collect enough wood. It may not be warm in the lean to but safe from the elements.
Amazing how much trash was in that hut. Cleaning up after animals not humans... 10 Stars for this Guy!!!
