I did these for years as a braked nose pivot 180 to pedal pressure 180. It wasn't until 2014 that I learned, (From Martin Aparijo at the HB pier,) that I wasn't even supposed to be using the front brake. Thanks for posting. I think this is a trick/move that nearly everyone should learn, even non-BMXers & MTBers. It is such a great building block for bicycle control. Plus they look cool and feel great.
