Same. When I placed my order the day they opened up there was no builder for classic bodies. I had multiple dealers tell me 2023 was widebody only because the classic lines linked to the widebody builder lol. I had to drive to my dealer to order off a spreadsheet.
@@ivanwoodworth4958 bro so true ! And it's crazy how we can't have nice things anymore without someone trying to take what's yours. But I will most definitely be safe I'm definitely going to get the wheel locks and I'm going to park my car at night in the garage. But the only time they might see my car is out working or shopping for groceries.
85 mph while still in the 55mph portion of the break in jail. Supposed to keep it to 55 for the first hundred miles, then 75 til 500. So sayeth the manual anyway.
I personally vastly prefer the classic body challenger. It's just so much more appealing and true to the old body style. Yeeaahh wider wheels would be nice, but that gorgeous clean silhouette. The factory widebody kit looks like a cheap bolt on anyway. May as well do it yourself if you want it and save 10k up front.
I wonder how much Ben gets paid? This guy with a nice personality be on his job. Challenger is a nice car sadly might be last year going be sad because of the electric cars.
For 2022 Yes. For 2023 all hellcats are Jailbreaks 717hp. The new clarification for the 807 for 23’ is Redeye Jailbreak. My 23’ charger hellcat jailbreak has 717hp. ✌️
I'm finally in a good financial position where I can afford a hellcat redeye. However, these marked up prices (at least $25K over) has stopped me from buying one. Though I can still afford it with the marked up price, no way I'm paying $25K or more over sticker price.
Oh don't worry people are backing out of deals left and right with insane interest rates and financial insecurity due to the recession. My original choice of dealer that I didn't go to due to 5k markups now has a handful they are selling at MSRP from failed deals. Keep an eye out
Crooked badge on the rear spoiler, wrong badge on the sound system, can’t even build these things correctly. However they can still charge astronomical prices for them. I really hope dodge goes down hard next year. They need a wake up call.
No way that car is getting 13mpg in the city. My Scat Pack was around 9 and a half in city driving. These cars are about 4,200 pounds, that's one heavy car.
The scat pack wheels pissed me off so much. I was expecting it to have the stock HC2s that hellcats have had. I threw such a fit with dodge, but they didn't do anything lol. I would have ordered the 5 spoke vapors if I realized they swapped out the stock wheels for scat pack wheels without ANY indication it was changing. So I'm stuck with those ugly ass things for now.
My point exactly! Oh how I love these but after a while it’s just like they’re all the same you almost can’t tell the difference in traffic… and if I’m paying 100k I damn sho don’t wanna favor the the 2015 🤷🏾♂️
Because you can order cool option combos. This one just doesn't have any. I kinda wish I went with the copper carbon weave for my interior, but without any pictures I had no idea what it would look like and just went with regular carbon. This one is weirdly stock for somehow having a higher MSRP than mine.
Ahh yes, classic Dodge quality- mismatched speaker badges... Unfortunately those aren't likely to be the only fuck-ups made while assembling that car. They've made these things since 2008- they're time has come. Dodge saw fit to never update this car- I know they didn't have the cash to for years after bankruptcy, but had Dodge invested in ANY new product over the last decade, quite likely would have gotten a true 2nd gen car. As late as 2018 right before Sergio Marchionne passed away- his updated 5 year plan had ALL NEW Chargers and Challengers for the 2023 MY. They were to ride on a version of the Giorgio platform, retaining V8 power. So we would've had Chargers and Challengers that were significantly lighter weight, riding on a way stiffer platform, able to turn and stop with the best handling GT cars in the world. Instead, Mike Manley took over- starved Dodge of new product just a little longer while looking for a merger partner, and WHAM- Now Tavares is CEO, and has 0 interest in another generation of ICE musclecars at Dodge. He's burning the whole thing down hoping Dodge is reborn as a Tesla fighter- selling expensive EV's, and raking in the cash. Meh
@Lynx Actual - The Challenger has been MADE since 2008- and having been purchasing new Mopars since the late 90’s (including several L cars btw- Magnums, Chargers, and Challengers- 6.1 & 6.4 SRT’s and both Hellcat Charger & Challenger in 15’ and 19’. I still own a Grand Wagoneer and a Ram 2500. I’ve owned enough Mopars to give an opinion without being called a hater- it’s the truth. I’m not one of these new fanboys that started showing up for “Scats & Cats” that think these cars are the greatest thing on earth. I’ve owned a bunch, and dealt with the issues- they’re not the best built vehicles on the road. Let’s not even get into how often these things are getting stolen now; they’ve really started to attract the wrong crowd if you like to keep your shit. Being honest about a vehicle brands major shortcoming isn’t being a hater. I’m just as pissed that there are no new L cars coming on the Giorgio platform for 23’- they would’ve been fully modern, advanced vehicles- and I would’ve tried one on most positively.
Its sad to see this beauty no longer being made next year....its a shame
Just bought one. F8 Green ! Pick up Saturday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad they making slim body hellcats /jailbreaks can’t wait to get mine baby 💯🥶

Did anyone else think that SRT badge on the deck lid was a little crooked?
Dodge quality
Can't wait to get my hellcat in a couple months
Just make sure you take every precaution not to get that beautiful car stolen. I would hate to see an animal, steal it and then wreck it.

2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak Last Call Special Edition!
Great review thank you.
Do you want to
Torque by Tesla? Or do you want to have by a ice.
Weird seeing this as a non widebody.
That part. Pass for me, widebody is the only way to go for the last year.
You can always add the wide body kit later. That’s what I did on my 20 charger rt

Totally agree, reminds me of dually truck bolt on fenders. Cannot beat the classic look!

Nice 👍 video and what a beasts of a car ❤❤❤❤❤❤
So what does it have over a different hellcat that makes it worth 20k more?

just reviewed someone's financing on one of these; 150k dlr selling price. Rising prices, falling quality.
Beautiful Hellcat wish i could own one 🤤
Jailbreak is 807hp buddy
Jailbreak has 807 hp. Not 717.

It's just a limited model with gimmick badging.

Way too much hp/torque for a narrow body with smaller wheels/tires! No TY!
