    Lovely little files! I was a bookkeeper for many years. .before "quick-books" programs. It was all by pen or pencil in ledgers! (1980's) Anyway, I had those rubber fingers (rubber thimbles) and that's the way we could quickly get through the zillions of paper pages, invoices, bills, etc! Who new I'd be wishing I'd kept those old papers for crafting but I do have a couple rubber fingers left!! I never would have believed it!! :))

    Rachel, I have some napkin layers that I was going to stamp on tomorrow because they are a lot heavier than what I normally get off the backs of napkins. Now I’m very inspired to get it done, and I have ways to use them thanks to you. I really like the stamps you used. I have a lot of stamps, but I have stamp envy! 😁. 🤗 hope you enjoyed your pizza!

    Hi Rachel, this is something that I love to do with my left over napkins too. Definite it is fun and good use to them, the other think I like to do is using my stencils and using only the ink pads or the stamps it gives 2 different effects and textures. Till next time and have fun.

    Beautiful little file folders and envelope! I laughed when you said you didn't have to cut so close because the backgrounds on both of them were yellow, and then you did a better, faster job of fussy cutting than I ever could have! ✂️❤

  • @JeanetteHouse
    @JeanetteHouse 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The stamped napkin backs give a nice soft background, don’t they? I used them like that once when I’d cleaned ink off a carved bird stamp and liked the ghost images better than my stamped ones. 😂 Problem is, it’s yet more stuff to find place to keep, whereas I usually chuck the peeled layers in the recycling bin. 🙄🤣xx

    Rachel- as I watch this video this morning- I am reminded of a previous video in which you mention you are not really a mixed media artist--but honestly- your collage in and of itself is art- something that you definitely have your own style. By adding paper, napkins, stamping, textiles- this is all mixed media mediums. In fact you are a mixed media artist, my dear!!

  • @candyselph1264
    @candyselph1264 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    When you stamp on the white pieces it's like you get 2 or 3 napkins instead of just one depending on how many layers it is. More bang for your buck
