It says it all when she can sing everything from Her own self to Janis Joplin to Springsteen. Such versatility. I've seen her live three times and with the exception of 'Aloha From Hawaii' With Elvis in 1973 which I fortunately was able to see live. LeAnn's the best concerts I've ever seen.

I've been to 12 LeAnn Rimes Concerts over the years and anytime she sings a Janis Joplin song she has nothing but praise for the talent that Janis had. LeAnn's rendition of "Summertime" is just great. I first saw LeAnn when she was 18 and when she brought up Janis I was amazed that someone so young would admire Janis Joplin which LeAnn does. In 2007 me and three friends drove to PeachTree, Ga. to attend two of LeAnn's concerts, I had a meet & greet with LeAnn and gave her a 5 by 7 psychedelic picture of Janis, she was thrilled and thanked me very much . LeAnn also sings a number of Patsy Cline songs and she is just great, very few singer's have the range to be able to sing a Patsy Cline song and then go right into a Janis Joplin song. LeAnn is a beautiful young lady with a remarkable talent. Hope she does well with her new record label.

Not many performers have that type of experience behind their names. You think of Michael Jackson, and really not too many more artists in modern music history that were that talented from a very young age and continue performing for the masses their entire lives. You think of Michael Jackson, and really not too many more artists in modern music history that were that talented from a very young age and continue performing for the masses their entire lives. I generally like Leanne MUCH!!! more than I like Pink, but Pink rocked this song like no other since Janis... Leanne's voice is just too controlled for this free spirit of a song. This is like watching a Rolls Royce doing a burnout, it's capable and still entertaining but just doesn't seem natural...haha All just my opinion though.
