There is NO question that Leann is one of the purest voices ever to record this song. I love Dan Roen's comments. I will neither argue nor disagree with Dan's great comment's. I will only add that it baffles me that David was; "a man after God's own heart." David was a great man. Yet, even with his desire to seek God's own heart he committed horrific sins. And, David paid a price for his sin's, but God did not disown David. If my sins do not include the same sexual sins that befell David - it's only because my secret desires and actual opportunities never occurred simultaneously. I would preach, at any wedding, the often hidden meaning o this song. Don't think for a minute that ANYONE of us is immune from a broken marriage due to sexual sin, and/or any other broken vow. My only hope is in my Lord and Savior Jesus.
