Join me today as we discuss who would win in a fight between Alastor and Death from a power scaling perspective.

Hey man, I am team Alastor all the way, but this video is pretty much fax, tho, you missed a few potential of Alastor's abilites, one being reality munipulation, normally he does this while singing, he is not the only character that can do that, the other ability is being able to rip someone's soul and broadcast their screams. Speaking on his abilites, we need to talk about where he gained them. The logical answer is he made a deal for them, all sinners have the same amount of power when they arive in Hell. the only way to gain power is by making deals with sinners, and, he had way too much power when he first showed up, it is canon that he made a deal, so, it is reasonble that he gained his power from one, this is important because that means his power is not really his but whoever owns his soul, if you watch closely for some reason he was not as strong while fighting adam than he was fighting the demons that attacked the Hotel, and yet when Adam, attacked the Hotel Alastor did not seem to be as strong, you may say he was holding back, but if that was true why did he not hold back on a bunch of demons who were weaker than adam, but when it came to a bigger threat he holds back? That does not make sence, the more likely answer is the person who owns him is restricting what he can do. The person who owns him may be Roo, Lilith, or Eve, w video BTW.

I see alastor beaten and bruised after using his shadow move to escape into an alley. cursing death that when he finds a back door to his deal, he'll regret ever crossing him. But he needs to get to the hotel to recover.
But, when Alastor truns around, he hears metal scraping. He slowly turns to see white dots gazing at him.

Death is the one that brought Alastor to Hell in the first place. He's an abstract concept of death itself given form and a fundamental force of creation. Alastor would soil his pants because considering how he feared for his life when he thought he was going to die from fighting Adam he would instantly bail knowing Death would take him out for good permanently.
death is different in hazbin hotel. It aint the death from puss in boots that was responsible for alastor's human death
Plus, they are both from a different universe meaning that the death receive in Puss in boots isn’t the death in the haze hotel universe might be wrong here, but death wouldn’t really fight Al Because he’s already dead and the fact that demon steak multiple times, and they just get back death does not go after them meaning that once they die get sent to hell and die again death does not go after them, so why would he even go after him unless he was actually gonna die. Plus the show Puss in boots isn’t really canon again you can correct me if it is or not meaning that either he is using all forms of the Puss in boots franchise instead of its canon innovations he’s also using the ones that aren’t canon and when I see the Puss in boots franchise, I am referring to everything that Puss in boots has been in and I know that he is in the Shrek Verse

With the force field Alastair created he literally was fighting an entire army with angelic weapons, essentially blindfolded. Letting the tentacles do their work

I've scaled it to wall level itself since exorcist can be damaged permanently with rubble it and the exorcist was blooded with the field so yeah wall level at best and it was destroyed by Adam with one punch he was holding back too wall to small town

And yet he conveniently forgot about the angelic weapons, and rushed into a fight with Adam without any, despite knowing for a fact only angelic weapons could take out Adam. Curious. His forcefield was large-building level at best too.
Great video, man! Even though i already know who's winning this, I'm glad you educated some people on some interesting meta's that existed between two characters.
Appearntly, the Wishing Star has a higher end calc that can get to Multi-Contin level.
Alastor does have a lot of hax and abilities (prequel comics), although most of them are not really combat use.

And I didn’t use the Multi-continent calc since it assumes that the star would be the same heat as the core of the sun and not a lot of people might take since it since it’s an assumption that it’s the same heat. So I just stuck with the visual Large Country calc, but even then it’s not really needed to get him higher.

8:33 I was also gonna say that we could scale Death with another Wishing Star from Puss In Boots show, the one that was able to talk like an actual being, since that Wishing Star did actually die. And Death is supposedly an abstract being and personification or Lycanification (Wolf personifying) of Death.

Off topic question, what would happen if generation one Megatron from Transformers was in Hazbin Hotel?
I think two things will happen
1. He takes over Hell and kills everybody (the most likely scenario)
2. He might go to Charlie's hotel because he thinks that is the only way out of Hell

He's just to durable surviving a explosion that moved an planet, has been in far more battles so that should give him the advantage in combat experience and he can also control Anti-matter which will 100% one shot any Overlord

Okay real quick.
Sorta Solo Thread either correcting or giving my own opinions or feats or arguments used in this video. No hate or anything. Just trying to correct things I personally believe wrong.
The vox calc is inneficient and irrelevant.
The only reasons he causes a black out is because his headquarters are connected to most if not all of the powerlines and tech in the ciry since he owns it all and produces it as well as being connected to it.
When he bluescreens he glitches the shitty ass power central because 1 he is directly connected toall of it at the time through actual wires. (Which wether or not they amplify his power is meaningless since this is clearly a only within that room thing.)
And basically he just sparked and fucked with the main power plant which causes a chain reaction of failures and turns off everything.
If it was an actual EMP or something like that then it would've affected the hotel. Which it clearly doesn't because they have their own powergrid.
Next up. No alastor does not scale to stolas in any way shape or form. Stolas is a Hellborn demon Prince who's powers are amplified by a grimmoire. He's demon royalty and a high end at that.
He has feats that far outscale anything in the hazbin show (other than lucifer). And it would be disingenuous to give alastor feats comparable of merely a Non canon hyperboly from the pilot. "Hells greatest evils" while only showing overlords in the picture in a show where everyone is stuck in the pride ring where there's only sinners and a few imps. Is pretty clearly only reffering to the overlords.
Even including the rest of hell most hellborn aren't all that evil. All of the sins but one have been genuinely just nice people. With the ars goetia being just assholes to shitty politicians at worst. I highly doubt any of them classify as greatest evils. Compared to the souls of some of the most heinous people to ever exist.
These are entirely different characters with different abilities and origins and completely different magic who have never interacted.
Saying they're relative is at best case scenario just a heavily missinformed or wrong statement to make.
And the stolas splitting the sky was 1 clearly done through and only with the grimmoire. 2. Just magic hax from a specific spell meant to do that for the harvest moon festival and not any sort of attack potency.
2nd mini rant.
Lucifer Is never tagged by adam once. And is explicitly far faster.
Not only is he toying with adam. But he only ever gets hit when he straight up isn't even paying attention to the fight. Which is because Adam isn't even strong enough to hurt him.
Adam shows clear superiority to alastor. Only being tagged by surprise attacks and easily destroying and countering any straight un attack. You could argue alastor has relative speed to adam physically as he is shown dodging the axe strikes although you can still argue he merely dodges off skill since his whole saying there is him telling adam how predictable and sloppy his moves are. But I won't go down that.
Although it's pretty blatant alastor can't react to the Holy light attacks. And after his staff is broken he immediately gets blitzed by adam physically.
Massively hypersonic to about relativistic of possible reactions to adam is probably the highest you can fairly scale him to.

Death teleporting might actually more likely be Omnipresence.
Since you know. Death is everywhere.
But only travel speed wise.
He is always there where death looms and such. Wah.
The angels who created earth and the rest of the universe clearly worked together to do so. There was likely dozens if not hundreds or more working together to do most of their feats.
And most of those angels scale to if not above lucifer himself.
Alastor clearly doesn't scale to lucifer. By any means shape or form. Since lucifer easily curvestomps adam despite not using a holy weapon. The same adam who took zero damage from alastor besides being staggered and also oneshot alastor.
Alastor doesn't scale to the ars Goetia. Much less stolas exactly for the same reasoning of why adam doesn't scale to the seraphim or creation angels. Because they're entirely different kinds of angels. Adam was a human soul.
The serpahim pure light angels who were directly made and probably work under Either god or the light bein of good.
Same thing aplies for alastor. He is a sinner. A human soul.
A completely different type of demon compared to stolas who is a hellborn prince with dark powers who is a decendant of Paimon one of the naturally born king/Prince's of hell who was likely created by Rue. the root of all evil.
There's no way to scale them to eachother as there's never a valid statements that even comes close to comparing them.

Acutally death can scale beyond horner full power as he was shown in the future to destriy earth not to mention he took down a wishing star in the canon stated to be canon puss in boots tv show

I also think Death is stronger than Alastor, just because of his speed.
I still have one thought. I think death can also be seen here as an angel of death who was created from the beginning to harvest the souls of mortals. This would mean death would be on the same level as true angels Lucifer and Sarah.
Would also explain why Death couldn't be defeated by Puss or the Wishing Star. Only angel weapons could really harm him and then his sickles would also be angel weapons that could kill Alastor.
Fair point but that’s meshing two continuities together. Death was the first thing made in the dream works world but not Hazbin. Saying this could mean that if I brought a flamethrower and waited for the right moment I could no diff alastor because fire seems to affect the soul of a person in dream works
i think a good point to bring up is that stolas main thing is just future reading... like that's his job as an ars goetia. to read the stars and discern the future. he cant actually do anything to stop it or there would be no need to prepare for them

Thank you for explaining why Stolas in you will be okay isn’t planet level. I knew for a while that it didn’t make sense since as you said there is no effect of his magic anywhere on those planets. We now especially since his telekinesis at least has some visible signs it’s there we know it couldn’t be that and how knowing the stars and planets is literally Stolas’s only job he would’ve just known that star was gonna collapse and just teleport there. Sorry for the long read I was just in so many arguments where they use this as reason for stolas to win a fight.

also one thing you could say for Alastor is that all sinners (and therefore overlords) immediately come back to (after)life when they are killed by anything except angelic weapons, however we do not know exactly what material death's sickles are, or if they would have an effect on a sinner, so we will assume its similar to Adam slashing Alastor after hitting his cane with that light attack, meaning just a few hits would kill Alastor no problem, mixing that with the obvious speed blitzes means Alastor sadly has no shot other than the possibility of him coming back... or Niffty with her new angelic dagger.
About the stolas scene with the planets. He didn't control any of those celestial objects. He simply brought himself and his daughter there to witness the collapse of a solar system, as a background for his lullaby. There were implications that is the future of earths solar system, which grants limited time travel to the portal magic, but... If that was the case, the events of the LA episode make less sense as it would not be time sensitive.
Tbh, I thought you were going to say Alastor wins because of the thumbnail. Don't get me wrong, I agree that Death would win. I'm just just surprised at the outcome of the comparison. Tbh, even if you came to the conclusion that Alastor would win, I wouldn't have been upset. Both are very powerful entities. I look forward to seeing your next video. 😁

Holy shit man, your voice is really cool. I honestly did not expect that deep of a voice coming in. Anyways, it's a very well-made video with solid arguments and reasonings for the most part.
Just a general nitpick was scailing Death's speed via Puss in the bar scene, Puss honestly didn't expect to be attacked in a bar nor took the claims of Death being the real deal. But that's just an honest oversight anyone can make. Just letting you know.

As for the speed stuff, Death still blitzes him multiple times in the same scene. You can see it if you watch the bar fight over again.
Though, Alastor sold his soul. So he himself does not possess it. Which is probably why Overlords are not affected by tge Extermination. And also why Alastor wasn't killed by Adam. If he did have his soul, he would've died. So in order for Death to win a battle to the death, he would have to track down whoever owns Alastor's soul. And we don't know Alastor's full power yet. (And yes, i know this requires a lot of interpretation. But this man literally took a star dying literally (and yes, i know it's because the star had a conscious) and gave Alastor the benifot of the doubt anyway, so bite me.)
I noticed you never mentioned how alastor can summon others and owns others he can use. We see in one of the episodes he creates shadow people to rebuild the hotel after sir pentious attacked. He also owns others souls as we see with husk, he might own others that he could also use to his advantage
Thank you for your comment! I thought about that, but in all honesty none of them would have really made a difference. And even then as I mentioned in the video, Death seems to be able to manipulate people’s perception to where only one person can see him as seen in the movie. So going by that logic, even if Alastor summons other people to help him, Death potentially could just make it to where only Alastor can see him.
In the Music Video "Look my way" by Viv, it shows Stolas moving planets and everything.
It’s not quantifiable sadly. It can easily be chalked up to just meant to be flashy visuals.

No, this is NOT an illusion. First, Stolas left footprints on the moon. Secondly, as it later turned out on Instagram, he is really capable of opening portals to any point in space. On Instagram, he posted a photo (many Persians Khazbin and Boss have Instagram accounts to create the feeling that Vers lives live, etc.), where he opens a portal to one of the REAL places in space (either in our system, or in someone else’s, I don’t remember). According to him, he went there to watch the meteor shower. Also, he began to talk about some real facts, either about the planet he stopped near, or about meteorites, or about something else, I don’t remember.
The essence is the same, he is capable of teleporting to such points. The portal effect, by the way, is exactly the same in the photo as in the series. Plus, so far Grimoire has not shown anything more than portals. We can say with greater certainty that this is a pocket dimension rather than an illusion. But still, more arguments go in favor of the fact that this is just a portal, at least because of insta. And how does this improve Alastor, you ask. And the fact that in the pilot of Hotel Hazbin, Vaggie directly called Alastor the most powerful being in the entire history of Hell. You will say the following: “Well, Vivien said on the stream that Stolas is superior to Alastor.” 1 Firstly, this was 4 years ago (they had already changed the concept of the characters) Secondly, She literally said the following: “I dare to assume that Stolas is more powerful than Alastor, but I don’t know because their work works differently.” The Author himself probably doesn’t know. Thirdly, you need to look very carefully at Vivien’s words, because on one of the old streams she said the following: “Alastor and Lucifer know each other, and they also have respect for each other.” Also, Episode 5 of the Hazbin Hotel, which shows us a clear contradiction, so we must look skeptically at Vivien’s words.
@@UmbraTWolfIf we take the words of Vaggie, which I mentioned above, then we can conclude that Alastor is higher than all the Overlords. you will tell me “No, he is not higher than all the Overlords, because Zestiel is stronger than him.” Firstly, Mimzy in episode 5 of the Hazbin Hotel said that Alastor killed 8 of the strongest Overlords. You can also remember the words of Vaggie from the same Pilot, in which she called Alastor’s strength incomprehensible to ordinary mortal souls. Overlords are, without exception, former mortal souls. Based on all this, we can conclude that Alastor>>>>All overlords. We also remember that Alastor is limited in his strength, so he can be even stronger than all these Overlords. Based on all my reasoning and arguments, we can conclude that Alastor can compete with the demons of Goetia, which means he may well have destructive potential in the solar system. So I proved to you that Alastor has a solar system. Thanks for reading

And none of this really argues that stolas had caused a solar system level explosion, nor endured a solar system level explosion. So this sadly doesn’t not really mean anything. And pictures on instagram likely don’t really scale anywhere. The scaling for the star that we visually see though is called too. And this is not a pocket dimension either.

Here's the thing...if we suspend Al's immortality as a Sinner, then Death...really doesn't even need to engage him. Or even acknowledge his existence. Entropy comes to everything, death is the ultimate fate of all living beings...and Fate always wins eventually.

So you asked if there was anything missing about Alastor so here's one I think. Now for clarification i don't know alot about his powers or anything, but from the show We've seen him create a camera out of thin air, which means in theory he could create objects out of thin air. And we've seen him distort the world around him. Now I'm not sure if that last one isn't really a power of his, so that one I'm iffy on. Just thought I'd put that in. Great video!

In addition to the last point, Charlie was genuinely worried Lucifer was going to kill Adam with no angelic weapons, and Lucifer put him so close to death that he went down to Nifty. Overwhelming force (like Death wields) would likely bypass demonic/angelic durability.

@@deangeloenriquez1603 this makes more sense since vaggie and lute can harm eachother with normal weapons but on the same note Vivs did say that the angelic weapons are just to put them down not harm them, all through the series, they can be harmed by normal means, just cant die from normal means.

you made fair points but i really like the fact you completely ignored the statement alastor is immortal unless angelic weapons are used. it was never stated weapons that can hurt the soul could kill sinners, only angelic based weapons can. And Alastor himself is shown to be able to hurt souls and even manipulate husk's and nifty's souls through deals. Hes a DEALMAKER. We can assume he owns over a 100k souls from carmilla's statement "together we own millions of souls", and Alastor being stated to be the most powerful sinner that has manifested in hell, it might even be up to 200k souls.
So 1.Death has no counter to Alastor's sinner immortality
2.Soul weapons wouldnt work because one its not an angelic weapon, and two even if we down scaled alastor and made it so soul weapons from death (his sickle) could hurt him, Death would need to plough through 100k-200k souls.
in terms of speed, you forgot to mention vox's speed(he can transform into lightning), which is basically lightning speed/speed of light or relevantly close to speed of light, and Alastor is debatably faster than vox.
so its not just death speed blitzing alastor and its closer than you might think

In the stream Vivzie states that 'she isnt sure and how their power works is different', and with stolas having planetary to SOLAR systerms, Alastor should either rank similar to solar system or higher (potentially as it has been debunked by various people that alastor scaled higher)

so if Husk (soul owned) = loan sharks while as an overlord he should scale to alastor, then alastor as an overlord who has his soul owned by someone else, should scale MUCH higher than he does now, relatively close to the downgrade of 60% in their power like i mentioned, so we are talking about 40% alastor against death and its already bending towards Alastor.
imo Alastor (soul owned and without angelic weapon immortality statement) extreme diff on death

If i can add something, alastor seems to have a link to a power from another, potentially corruptive realm/reality, also this the shadowed being that often shows up behind him. Also, you have to remind yourself that Paimon, Stolas' father, gave Stolas the grimmore to help him learn his powers. Another thing is that Paimon creates the grimmore that he gives to Stolas out of his own knowledge and powers. This would indicate that if Alastor can beat Stolas AND Paimon, he could be potentially stronger. If you go back to when Angel Dust asks if Alastor can MAKE demons do anything, and him saying he can, that would be another indicator. By the way, I'm not on either side, I'm sure both characters have their abilities, but maybe you should take a look at all the details before coming to a conclusion. One last thing, notice how Alastor is clearly hurt by the cut Adam did to his chest, and yet, he can still use his powers and he obviously never really needed his cane to do anything except make his voice sound like a radio. He also, throughout the entire series, can clearly distort reality, as seen when he uses his powers to taunt others.

Though considering the one who actually had a relationship with Lilith in mythology was Samael, the Angel of Death, assuming Lucifer and Samael are the same in Hazbin Hotel, they would be pretty much the same thing as Death. Or maybe Death itself is a more powerful being than a mere Angel of Death. Thoughts?

Here is a theory Alastor dale did not limit his power but gave him More power but he is stuck protecting that meaningless hotel and if he abandons it he loses the power boost he was given by his deal
i know we havent seen much about it but allastor didnt kill overlords he trapped them in his broadcast (mimzy never said they died or allastor killed them) that might give alastor a chance but we'll have to wait for season 2 (assuming we will see more about this in season 2) to count this

I don't believe it makes a difference, but there is one feat you didn't consider when scaling Alastor to Stolas. Stolas managed to:
Posses a human
Bring back dead humans as undead
Make a ritual to bring him to earth
All while in hell
I do think he needs to be really powerful to do something like that, especially without his book
