Yzerfontein 2023

Help us to keep Yzerfontein the beautiful little West Coast Village that we all love and treasure so much!
A WhatsApp group was initially created in an attempt to request as many Yzerfontein
Concerned Residents to participate in objecting Swartland Municipality’s proposed
amendments to the 2023 - 2028 Spatial Development Framework.
From this WhatsApp group
CRAG was established, Concerned Residents Action Group. We are not an association, nor
an institution. We represent the Concerned Residents of Yzerfontein, and all interested parties
who want to object to Swartland Municipality’s proposed amendments. We are also suggesting
a new amendment to the SDF to prevent all proposed future development of agricultural - and
natural habitat surrounding Yzerfontein.
Together, CRAG is working for the better of Yzerfontein.
After studying the voluminous Integrated Development Plan of Swartland Municipality we have
compiled a well-researched letter of comments, to be individually signed by as many people
as possible. We will deliver all the signed letters to SM, in person, on 29 March 2023.
