That's actually achieved on the 'Effects' page of the Boss Tone Studio. Once you're on that page, go to the far right and where it says 'reverb,' select 'rev + del', making sure your reverb knob is activated. (I usually save at that point.) From there, reverb and delay 2 will be grouped, but both can be individually edited. Now you have a spare space to throw another effect in place of delay 1.
Another trick is to go to the S/R page and bump the volumes up to 104 or 106. Plug a a patch cable in from send to return in the back of the amp. When you step on the 'Loop' bottom on the GAFC, you'll now have a true volume booster.
