@@NOPPADOLSUD Oh for sure in your case! I'm fantasizing about having all 50S batteries in my V10F! Since 50S are a different spec battery from the original, do you think they would work with the existing BMS and charger? Thank you!!
Is it possibe to charge the battery when it is not connected to the main motherboard of the V10? Unfortunately I can´t see in your video at minute 21:03 if the light of the charger is red or green when you plug in the charger. Does it light stay red or does it just flash one time shortly red when you plug in the power plug of your charger an the change to green? In my case I had to change the fuse of the bms after an overload and the charger seems not to charge the battery after replacing the fuse even after activating the battery. The charger light stays green thats why I assume something with the charging components on my bms was damaged too. The total voltage of my pack is 81V, so charging should start normally, but I am not sure if charging is in any way controlled by the main motherboard or just by the bms of the battery. Any help is welcome. Thanks
You can charge the battery when it’s not connected to the motherboard. Changing (in the video) is for activating the battery pack. Actually it means that I plug & then unplug immediately. In your case, I think some cells in the battery pack may be a dead cell that why the the charger show green light because the BMS perceives that it is already full charging. You need to check voltage of each cells before focusing on the BMS. The issue is only on the battery pack and BMS (later) not the motherboard.
@@NOPPADOLSUD In my case the cell clusters seem to be ok, each has around 4.05V. I guess something of the charging electronic on the BMS board was damaged at the incident which blew up the 40A fuse on the BMS. By the way the positioning of the fuse is a very dangerous construction pointing direct to the cells below. My fuse seemed to develop a big spark when it was burning down and even the underlying separation material was damaged as well. Luckily nothing more has happened. The brakedown happened out of nowhere during very slow drive, so no big load was on the system when it happened. Maybe a Z-diode or a transistor died. The 4 large MOSFETs on the BMS seem to be ok yet, but for checking the other parts I would need a circuit diagram. Do you know where I could find that or do you have more info about the charging parts in the BMS and how they are connected? Thanks!
Sorry, I have no the circuit diagram. But I have found the generic BMS diagrams including the changing system by google. Hope you can solve the issues. ✌️
Hi. have you ever had a problem with cell balancing? would it be a good idea to solder wires for manual balancing (charging groups of cells separately)?
HI My V10F suddenly stopped self balancing, it's as if the handle kill switch is engaged. I also noticed that the headlight won't turn on. I've ran diagnostics and everything comes up fine. I've tried all the troubleshooting tips like toggling transportation mode and handle mode on and off. There was no physical damage and it hasn't gotten wet. Is there a way to do a hard "reset" or something?
@@NOPPADOLSUD I understand, but it turns on normally and all the diagnoses are showing as positive in the application, this happened twice and I managed to fix it and walked normally, but now it happened again.
Hi friend, very nice video. I have a inmotion v8, my battery is smaller, but built VERY similar. I have 4 cells out of balance by 0.23 to 0.35V, out of 40 cells (36 cells at 3.85V). How can i charge those 4 cells to 3.85V like the others? I think maybe this is enough to fix my pack for some time.
check whether low cells accept charging. if not find the temperature fuse side and make it restired. then you can charge them again to full and make equal to others. win!
Thanks, i fixed the issue. I gutted the pack off the wheel, ended up manually charging and discharging the low cells, up, down, back up to the voltage of the rest of the pack, and problem solved. In motion doesn't do cell balancing apparently.
@@pierrex3226 it does but with cery small deviations and by very low current. when it is not meet to above criteria then it becomes unbalanced apparently.
@@pierrex3226 I didassembled my pack and only one pair is 2.85v, all the rest 4.06v each. I thinking what to use as a charger and discharger for this bad pair... What did you use for charge and discharge in your case?
@@NOPPADOLSUD I mean did you repair similar electronics before this case? I think would it be possible for me to do the sane when I never do such before. I have similar problem with battery and not sure what is inside and how to deal with it, but I probably can repeat the same like you did.
ละเอียดมาก ขอบคุณครับ
было бы неплохо также измерить внутреннее сопротивление всех ячеек, как у нас говорится "чтобы два раза не вставать"
I'm curious if all the cells could be replaced with 50S - would the charging and operation still work? Thank you!
No need to replace all cells. Since I have replaced the dead cells, the unicycle still works and charges normally.

Actually, my brain wasn't working, as I actually know the 50s is a different size and wouldn't fit! Duh
All battery cells should be the same spec and better to be the same brand.

Hi. have you ever had a problem with cell balancing? would it be a good idea to solder wires for manual balancing (charging groups of cells separately)?
I haven’t had a problem for balancing yet.
How old were the old cells? Can’t it become a problem when you combine old and new ones together? Thanks!
Recently, the unicycle still works very well with the combined cells. (I bought it in 2018)

There isn’t a hard reset. I think the battery (some cells) should be replaced as my case.

I think that the diagnoses in app can’t check the batteries.
Could you expecify me the exact battery cell model, please. Thank you for the video.

Full charge, check voltage and then discharge 4 cells simultaneously (balancing) using load such as a bulb. Check voltage until = 3.85V.

Yes, you can assemble it and then charge it using adapter as normal. The BMS will be activated. The voltage will be normal as well.
Did you whenever do similar before this video?
I did a few videos regarding a unicycle v10f before.

I did many videos on electronic devices but I didn’t work on a battery pack before. So, I think you can do yourself by following the video.
