Haven’t viewed video yet… just wanted to declare YOU ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!!! I love your skills, how you teach and I ABSOLUTELY love your style! Thank you brother! ❤❤❤❤❤😍👏💪
Basically I am so thankful for Mr make it happen because every recipe of his I have tried... I have enjoyed. His tips and tricks are worth listening to and using. I can't imagine trying how hard it is to keep people engaged on TH-cam with a cooking channel. Thanks for your honesty, humor and candidness.
I use the Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned- but not the cubed kind; mix it with my cornbread. Been using it since I was a newlywed and now I’m 70. Good stuff.
Love this! I love the herbs used for particular flavor profiles - sage is what makes food taste like Thanksgiving. By regular request, I'm doing cornbread dressing this year. Thanks for this video, I've picked up so many tips - yum!
I’m from VA and I grew up saying stuffing too 😂. I don’t know if that’s a VA thing or not 🤷🏾♀️. I used one of your Stiffing recipes last year for Thanksgiving and the devoured it. Everyone was giving me compliments on the recipe. Thanks for sharing. Your recipes ALWAYS HIT 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Using those Pepperidge Farm cornbreads and stuffing this year. What a great idea! ❤ I’ll try your dressing this year and see if my family can tell the difference 😂 Just grabbed your knife too! Thanks for the discount! I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving. 😊
Just my 2 cents lol. They call it stuffing when it’s put in the bird and dressing when you cook it like you did. I just learned that a couple years ago. I always put eggs in my stuffing ( I put mine in the bird) but I really like what you made and it is very moist so that’s an important part. Thank you for sharing. I really want to try the seafood dressing
I wanna try this for Thanksgiving! Never made homeade before. I think i should make it once before making it for other people though. Anyone else made it yet??
Heyy Matt!! You always MAKE IT HAPPEN!! My only beef is we are approximately 1,060 miles from one another! The opportunity to taste that DRESSING is impossible and I am not cooking this year. I'm visiting my Daughter and grandchildren!!! 😅😂 L👀Ks Fiya!! 🔥 🔥 🔥 😋 My dressing must be moist. Not wet, just-right-moist!! Not dry and choking me!! 😊
Been making these dressing for years., My MoM loved the seafood one a lot not me, but I love seafood., Can’t wait for cornbread dressing, I do not use those bags dressing @ all 11-18-2024❤
@@savingmoneyunapologetically I was Born and raised in New Orleans and i have never seen seafood made with fish heads with the eyes i don't even make seafood stock because this is not clean just my openion
@edithsanders7724 ask around, first of all heat kills germs, and do you eat out anywhere? And you say not clean? You are clearly delusional about restaurants and just how clean they are! Do you and Mr. Make it Happen will continue to do him and collect his money with or without your comments
I’m not being compensated for this comment, but his BaLemon and All Purpose seasoning is outstanding. If you are a fan of Bay Seasoning for seafood, try his BaLemon seasoning. Perfect balance and layers of heat and lemon. I’ve stopped using the regular Bay seasoning and use this on all my seafood, dips and even pasta dishes. Delish!

Make your cornbread from scratch, period! Nobody uses bagged cornbread!!! Also, there's a difference between dressing and stuffing. The dressing is made with cornbread, while the stuffing is made with bread.
Idk, I'm kind of offended with his little shady remark about listening to him because his dressing is better. I watch cooking videos for entertainment and ideas, not because I can't cook. My egg free dressing, made with from scratch cornbread, is a true banger!
@@MrMakeItHappenI am not, but look at it from the perspective that some people have family recipes that are handed down. Some people don't want to try something new. When I watch your videos, I am like, that looks interesting, and other times I am like that looks good but I can't eat really spicy foods, but my sons can so I make a mild version for me and follow the recipe for them. Just my two cents 😂❤
It’s just a cooking video, it’s not that deep to get offended by him promoting his recipe! 🙄😂😊 There is no such thing as a “authentic recipe” as so many people claim online! All recipes through the centuries has been altered by cooks based on the culture, geographical area and what they basically have on hand or could afford! 🤷🏾♀️ No reason to get “offended “! Do what works best for you and your family! You never have to follow anyone’s recipes by the book, recipes are always open for interpretation! 🤷🏾♀️
Pay attention to your grandparents (maybe parents if you’re old enough) in the kitchen while they’re alive so you can recreate it. You’re always crave that particular taste. Im always open but sometimes the new age recipes and techniques make me screw my face up a little bit.🤷🏾♂️
I stick to my mother’s cornbread dressing. I bake a pan of corn bread (add vanilla, tablespoon of sugar and extra oil for moisture). Brown chicken livers with celery and onions (chop up the chicken livers after they are fully cooked). Mix everything together and a little of the gravy from the chicken liver and a little homemade gravy to moisten it and bake in oven. I never have any leftovers after day 2 after Thanksgiving! 😅😂
Im sure this taste amazing not doubting..i watch what you do and always looks good and probably is..but technically dressing where im from is cornbread..not bread crumbs or like the stove top stuffing..chuncky like crutons. Toasted square bread. Different regions of the country choose the term i guess. I like both but prefer CornBread dressing..which is not stuffing. Not being an ass but to me this is stuffing. I bet its good as hell though.
I'm the same way. I prefer a chunkier style. I've used the bagged product a few times as a time saver but wasn't happy with the end result. I'll either buy a couple 9x9 pre-baked loaves from the store, cube it up, and dry it out or bake a couple 9x9 loaves with Jiffy mix. That way I can control the size of the pieces. They still crumble because of the nature of cornbread but it's not as fine as the bagged. Plus everything is mixed a really larger bowl by hand to keep things intact. It's bit more labor but not too bad. And I'll add about a 1/4 cup of Baileys.
Lord Jesus how can I become one of the tasters😫
Yo, seriously!!!
Right. Are there auditions?
Right... I want to be on the panel
Amen...!
OK?? I'd happily be on that panel! 😋
Got to have cornbread dressing for Thanksgiving 😋💕
Exactly!!! I'm old school if it's not made with cornbread it's not dressing and homemade stock turkey necks and giblets.
For the new cooks go for it.
An absolute must 🙌
@@paulacooper3545Most of those stuffing mixes are bioengineer ingredients , fake, & made in a lab. Jiffy cornbread has a bioengineer ingredient.

Love the way you set up your videos. They are user friendly.
Grandma always had two types one Oster Dressing and one regular one both great sides ..
My late auntie always made oyster dressing! I thought she was the only one.
My mom calls it oyster casserole. I thought we were the only black people who ate that lol.
My mother made the oyster dressing too.

I’ve heard that it’s called stuffing when you put it inside the bird, but dressing when it’s baked separately 🤷🏽♀️
Correct

The bag busting into the pot got me in tears 😂😂😂

I’m not a seafood fan at all but I know most folks do. Your dressing looks great. Thanks for sharing these!
I wanna try the seafood stuffing🥰🥰🥰 I bought 4 jars of the lobster base last year, do they go bad or is it safe to use after expiration date???

I used the Pepperidge farm mixes but still add in some fresh cornbread to give it a less Stove Top more that's my mama texture.

I was surprised to see that you used packaged cornbread mix. It looks very tasty. I will definately try this recipe.
😀
If it’s getting mixed with a bunch of stuff, it does just fine
How long in the oven after making the stuffing??

Stuffing or dressing, call it whatever, looks amazing!🤤🤤 Lol! Definitely gonna try to do that seafood stuffing for my fam!
Looks delicious so you don't use cornbread just the stuffing mix?
You can use either one, cornbread or cubed stuffing mix (or both). 🤷🏾♀️
If you would had added some crawfish tails to that seafood one it would have just brought it over the top. Looks amazing.
Looks delicious can't wait to try both ❤

Seafood Dressing!
My only critique is that you should always make your own cornbread when making cornbread dressing

Short but sweet answer.... Lol
Nope on the seafood yuck especially the fish head naw I'll pass
That’s the flavor…no one is eating a fish head in a dressing…
@TheeHoneyBadger7093 I don't like seafood anyways. And I know the head won't be in the dressing it just don't look good even for a broth. Lol
No eggs. I’m allergic
I never add eggs, it’s really not necessary for binding stuffing/dressing. 🤷🏾♀️

No sir.
