Verbally teaching the first letter Sounds of Words. This does not require looking at letters, no recognition of letters required. It's all through listening to the sounds. Develops child's listening skills as well.
ONE-Letter a Week Video: • How to teach ONE LETTE...
Next, here is what the child will learn about the letter in one Week: (Remember we will only teach the small sounds and their sounds. No Capital letters and names of the letters)
1) Teaching all the sounds of one letter. For instance if you are teaching the letter c. Teaching the following 2 sounds of that letter /k-s/ (Easy activity mentioned in the video)

2) Next you will practice listening to the sounds /k-s/ in sentences. This is the second most important skill that the child will learn in the week regarding the letter c. (Requires a Letter Story Book)
3) Writing the small letter on a white board or blackboard.

Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when I was only 9 months old. Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life.
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Naveed for 7 years. We have two sons - Yahya is 4 and baby Ziyad is 1 year old.
Q: Why are you Homeschooling him?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system (we have only one or two international schools in our city) is not satisfactory. We are aiming to homeschool till 6 years of age for now.

Hey sara you are doing a great job! Can you suggest me any book for practicing digraphs vowel teams consonant blend? Practicing words, then sentences and then passages. It should be easily available in pakistan. Honestly it is so hard to find books here. What books do you use?

I can't find Properly written and planned books here in Pk, honestly! Maybe I haven't browse hard. But jitni books nazar sy guzri. Not satisfactory. I'll quickly finish this video series with building the basics and begin with digraphs. Will try making a pdf for your ease with the sequence of teaching them and sentences.
Then, as I said in the video, once you'll know the steps and sequence, you can just Google free worksheets

I have a question about homeschooling period. If someone want to homeschool till 5 grade. What are the pros and cons of it? Is it beneficial or not?

I don't have personal experience. But if I were to do that I would definitely be investing in curriculums. Which I already am even though I'm sending my kids to school.
But if I was to exclusively homeschool my kids, I would be fully dedicated and will go beyond.
I already buy English and Math curriculums on a regular basis.
But in homeschooling case, I would also buy a proper science and Computers and History curriculums.
For handwriting, would hire a tutor. As it's a whole another struggle. So the tutor would only be required to work on writing and not on ruining any concepts 😄
For social interaction, kids would be going to Footbal, or Taekwondo or any other sports on a routine base. And frequent visits to family will be done. And more playmates and gatherings at my place as well.

I would definitely follow it inshAAllah. My son is 7 year and im struggling because of non availability of schools.
Living in remote area is a big hurdle in interaction with kids. So I as sahm homeschooling my 7 and 4 year boys. I am focusing on maths phonics English grammar and bit of science but it's a huge struggle to follow a routine. I watch your old videos on alternate days and follow you which is helping alot. JazakAllah again.
