A beautiful artisanal technique - classic yet so relevant. That Garrick is a peach - who doesn't love a wink of pink! Such strong Breguet vibes (and Daniels, Smith, Roth, Parmigiani, Voutilainen...). Of course, there are strong ties there with the modern (Chaumet on) Breguet where Roth and Parmigiani did great things. In modern production guilloche, aside from Breguet, Parmigiani is the standout. Worth looking out the odd guilloche Blancpain (you can guess who makes them!)... and the copper dial Sinn 356 at the other end of the market!
Thanks for the video. Rose machine turned dials vs CNC vs stamped all depends on many factors. It doesn’t mean that rose machines dials are automatically “better” than CNC or even stamped. It’s reminiscent of folks things that “in-house movements” are better. Remember that VC, Patek etc use lemania movements. They are not in-house. But they are finished by the Maisons and that is what is most important from a beauty POV. What I don’t like about some stamped dials is the quantities of watches made. I like low production models. Google Girard-Perregaux 2499 and look at the guiloche dial. And let me know if you think it’s hand turned, stamped or CNC. Just for fun. Best wishes from Singapore 🇸🇬

And now I want a Garrick. Made in my home city too
Thanks for the video👍
Ref # on the Tudor Prince? What a beautiful watch
a laser etch could do that outer ring on that garrick and you would never know
Is Garrick better executed than JN Shapiro ? What's your opinion also about Sartory billard?
I haven't seen those in person so it's hard to judge. Garrick makes the deepest, most 3D patterns I've seen.
Nice video and beautiful watches. We'd tailor made watches for you, guilloche, enamel...
Thanks for the video.
