This guy is absolutely the Best Teacher as far as explaining step by step by the numbers and has a really good easy voice to listen to all day if you had to. I’m retired from bricklayers union in dystopian USA where Unions have absolutely no clue ( at least the broken bricklayers) about how to teach anything since they probably never were any good if they ever even did it themselves? Can’t hack it on actual jobsites so they become “ instructors “ What a joke. If we had a teacher half as good as this guy We would have all been saved a lot of having to learn the hard way. I see apprentices now on utube videos who obviously haven’t been shown first things first basic 101 things that if they somehow survive in the union many years from now will be saying Damn how much time and effort would have been spared if only someone taught them the things that they are being paid well to teach. Union instructors don’t even touch the trowel and actually build anything, They should all really try and learn a little about teaching from this guy cause they’re Clueless and I feel bad for the struggling apprentice who actually Cares about the trade but obviously isn’t being taught shit even though there’s enormous amounts of money involved all around the corruption and political buying votes

Hey boss, looks great. How is that brick suspended above the new stone? Will there be a new brick placed between the new stone and old brick? Also how do you make sure you reach the appropriate height when using stone?

Never install brick ties in the first foot of height because you dont want to make holes in your vapor barrier you dont want leaks
