You can see that when the three large halftracks turn on the top of the hill,the front wheels are turning, but the track part is pushing is straight.... tight turning must have been really hard for these vehicles.....

Two steering brake cylinders under center floorboard are activated as you turn harder (at least on my former OT-810) If you use the levers down in the center you can gently turn the track without using the steering wheel making it easier to round corners. I plowed sand on a beach for many yards until told my steering was hard over, since that time I added a small white line top center of the wheel to help alignment while driving.
