      Yes there are places where there is no metro, rather its required. From Gurgaon to Dwarka via airport is much needed bt nothing has happened in this section.

      Can't help if you people don't protest against it nothing can be done. Ministry must be changed to urban development because railways doesn't have the experience to handle a metro rail. A separate authority like DMRC should be established which is 50-50 joint between state and centre. It should be done fast or our metro is getting destroyed everyday

    Delhi metro will probably hit 500+km in length by the time all the proposed lines are constructed.

      XAIKIA Axom metro rail in Delhi metropolitan area is about 384.4 km(Delhi+Gurugram+Noida). Delhi metropolitan area also have some kind of 100-200km old and shabby commuter trains that I suggest to upgrade them ASAP. And the area of these three cities together is 2419 km2, which is 1/2.68 compare to Shanghai municipalities. And Shanghai roughly have 676 km metro line and the whole area is 6500km2. So I would say the DENSITY of metro in these three cities ARE ACTUALLY HIGHER than Shanghai. If you only compared Delhi to Shanghai, then the density would be even higher. So keep going.

    And that 'Unknown reason' is that if extension is ended at Sahibabad then red line passengers need to checkout at Mohan nagar , take a auto and again check in at Sahibabad for noida. Extending it to mohan nagar will resolve this issue and redline passengers can directly change to blue line at mohan nagar..! And it's Vaibhav Khand.. not Vaishnav Khand by the way..!!😊😊

    Correction: The walkway between Delhi Metro's blue line and Noida metro's Aqua line has not yet been inaugurated. In fact, it is still in early stages of construction. I changed the metro from blue line to Aqua line after the upload of this video and can confirm that the walkway will not be open before end of April.

    You know I thought of why not connecting the Blue Line with the Hidon Ghat of Red line from N.Electronic City following the Delhi Meerut Expressway upto Kinauni Village and then turning left following the Hindon River and again turning left at Balaji Vihar which is near the Hindon River Station of Red line and following the Indian Railways tracks upto Sector 2B from where it can follow the Madan Mohan Malviya Marg and co-join with the Vaishali Station of the Blue line making it a loop with an interchange with the Red Line at Hindon Ghat Metro Station.

    This is actually very helpful for travelling between ghaziabad and Noida, combine that with the Delhi meerut expressway finally ghaziabad traffic problem will be fixed, at least 70%.

    This is a good plan.
    However what's badly needed is link between Delhi Aerocity to Gurgaon via Mahipalpur. The distance is hardly 3 km yet massive traffic.
    Also Gurgaon to dwarka link is needed badly.

    Another video out , but no Kolkata metro. If Kolkata metro is not freed from Indian Railways, then we would never get such a good connectivity over the city. People will suffer badly due to this. A separate authority is required like DMRC which should be independent to function. Sad nobody is taking the efforts to do so and centre is not giving us half shares in metro.😭😭😭
    India's first metro is being destroyed which can never be revived if not stopped now

      Every metro runs under a ministry. And every ministry has it's own rules and regulations. In case of other metros, it is Ministry of Urban Development. But in case of Kolkata, it's Ministry of Railways. Yes you are right. Ministry of Railways neglects Kolkata Metro a lot! Like a looooottttt! Also it seems that Railways doesn't consider Kolkata Metro as a metro, rather a normal rail line. So it imposes some rules and regulations of normal railways on Kolkata Metro. This ruins up Kolkata Metro! 🙂. We will make a video on how to improve Kolkata Metro shortly.

      True Both centre and state are ignoring this , state govt is not raising this issue maybe it itself is not interested and centre is not paying any heed . At the same time so many metro lines have been issued in many states . Maharashtra has got three lines Pune Nagpur and Mumbai . Even the suburban cities of Mumbai like Thane , Kalyan have been issued metros . Centres bad blood with Bengal Govt is visible .

      @@souravchattopadhyay3740 DMRC is a smart organization. All of their members from engineers to staff are ex IITians or some well known studies. So if they consider going to court they are bound to win because of powerful lawyers. If they decide to built a new line they will in a matter of weeks due to those extraordinary engineers. They also have a DMRC institute to teach students metro engineering. Kolkata metro also needs skillful engineers, we also need to setup an institution for it. It will help a big time in contributing our economy as well as providing jobs to high skilled people

      @@MetroRailBlog so why not change the ministry?? Clearly railways doesn't have that technology to manage a metro system. If railways think of us as normal trains then they will again try to impose broad gauges and Desi rakes on us. So changing the ministry is more important first than establishment of a DMRC type organization

    Delhi metro people will have themselves forgotten how many DPRs they have submitted to GDA. I have been living in Indirapuram for the last seven years and keep on reading news that sometimes GDA wants this, sometimes it wants that and DMRC people keep on submitting different detailed project reports. When the Delhi metro was being extended to Noida electronic city, the original plan was to extend it till Indirapuram, but GDA ignored it at that time, and by the time it gave approval, work in NH-24 started and they couldn't make changes in their plans to accommodate construction of metro, and so another DPR, and so on and so forth. 🤦🤦🤦🤦

    I think kolkata metro needs to be upgraded. Our road ain’t museum where they can preserve thos old slow shabby trams.

      I'm not from Kolkata buddy but believe me trams are very unique. I've also heard that in the entire Asia, Kolkata have only trams! If I ever go to Kolkata, I'll ride trams. But yeah nonetheless metro should be extended there..

      Dude trams define the city. Also it is environment friendly so no need to remove them. Rather use them as a feeder to metro system.
      Think like this, Kolkata has lots of small roads and colonies where metros cant run. Old colonies like Shyambazaar can run the trams which can connect to metros. Also localities like Newtown can use trams to bring commuters to a nearby metro station so they can travel far
