Wow! I’ve seen a similar technique using cornstarch but this seems so much easier and less messy! Thanks so much for showing this. I, too, would love to see more gel plate techniques.
I thought of the cornstarch (or baby powder) method also. But I think these results with water are more subtle. I guess it depends on the effect one is after. (I’ve seen a similar technique using isopropyl alcohol spray, specifically with matte acrylics. That was also very interesting.)
AWESOME!! This is very great idea. I look forward to trying this. I was referred from Froyles, Creative art page.
I tried it today without any drying….just paint and spritz, worked pretty good in layers.
Oh, good to know. Thanks 😊
hola, que genial!! muchas maestras en gelplate y no lo habían logrado. te felicito, sí que lo practicaré, muchas gracias!!
Fabulous Elizabeth. Thank you I will try this. ❤
totally cool Elizabeth, thanks for sharing your secret! Will try!
I've been playing with my plate for more than 10 years. This is spectacular, simple, well explained and I can't wait to go play! Thanks you!
Such an interesting process. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this clever technique!! I have a tool called “the world’s smallest leaf blower” from Amazon which blows air without heat!
What a clever idea. I actually received one of these tiny leaf blowers as a gag gift. I never opened it and is currently sitting in a donate pile. I will definitely be pulling it out and I'll make use of it. TFS
I love those color shift paints! I am going to try this, but don't have a hair dryer so will be trying natural drying. I have 2 plates so I can alternate to allow drying g time.
Great! Let me know how it goes.
Greetings from England. Will this work on fabric?
@@glendalawson150 I don't see why not! The steps of removing the wet areas will probably be more watercolor looking on fabric, but the final pull will work fine. Give it a go!
Fabulous just Fabulous! ❤❤😊
That's great....thank you.
Demo starts at 7:50 minutes
FABULOUS ‼️
Thanks very much fit showing the orocess. I will definately try this! Ans please make more videos (no pressure ;)j
I would like to. I haven't made many videos recently because of health and technology issues. Things are in a better place now, so there may be more videos coming!
Merci beaucoup 😊🌸🌸
Love this technique. Very inspirational. Thank you for teaching us Elizabeth
Wow. Love it. Wanted to do the citrasolve thing, but didn’t want to spend the money. Thanks so much for sharing!
7 minutes until you got to content...too long.
it’s free info!! This poster is spending her time to give everyone free inspiration. You didn’t even thank her, but I bet you use her technique and inspiration, right?
If you don’t like the time it takes to watch this free info, just speed the video up, then your time will not be wasted, as you believe it is. 🤦🏼♀️
Gorgeous papers!😊

That was so great! Thanks for the demo! I'd love to see more of your gel plate techniques.
One of the most fun and interesting art techniques I’ve seen in a long time.
Thanks 😊
