This is actually my favourite Vergil fight I've seen. It's not super crazy with combos and cinematic styles like the more famous advanced players, but you played it very strategically and you seemed like you were in full control of the situation the entire time, which was extremely satisfying to see.
Ikr, I think stylish combos are not all about being crazy fast, but balance of speed and skill, giving time to appreciate each frame. What most of the combo mad go wrong is despite immense amount skill required to pull that off, it ends up looking like a flickering light changing color, the entire action sequence ending up getting muddled with particle effects.
It's not simply the perfection required to take no hits in this fight that gets me. It's also the fact that the stylish rating never leaves SSS once it gets there.

Dante show stomp Vergil casually in the canon of the story. I’ll elaborate. In the actual canon Vergil only has Yamato so he only has one Devil Arm to Dante’s what 4? Balrog, The Motor Cycle, King Cerberus, and Devil Sword Dante. Mind you Dante has 2 styles he doesn’t use as if he’s nerfing himself on purpose. He doesn’t use Quicksilver, or Doppelgänger anymore. You know how many people would get wrecked if Dante decided to use his Devil Trigger or Sin Devil Trigger, Quicksilver, and Doppelgänger all at the same time?
You are a good match for me,dude. I'm also using the combos you do,and Royal Guard parrying most of the parriable attacks, but Royal Guard Parrying the Judgement Cut End,and Royal Release on Vergil before he turns into the F-16? Ok,Donguri did Royal Parry on JCE, but didn't make that preventing Vergil turning into a jet. Dude, I still need practice,and you got some unique skills among from Donguri. This fight is not like The Savior boss fight as Dante in DMC 4.
I tried to royal guard like him Not easy Sometimes i still get fragged anyway I still managed to score 6k something after dying once, and that is with the gold orb penalty I tried again and got like 7k by rezzing with red orbs instead Then i eventually scored 9.7k or something without dying once The specific attacks that can throw me off in royal guard are spiral blades, both yamato combo a and b(cannot tell which of the 2 will come out as at all), and blistering swords
@@OneManCast I've completed a run on both controller and on M+K. Some things are easier and some harder. I think some moves in particular are almost impossible on M+K but in this game you really don't need every move to be available to you. Obviously it helps to have a decent keyboard tho.
Funny to think that vergil is always after more power while perfecting his yamato technique and then everytime he finds Dante he gets folded with the random bullshit dante finds on his way, like a bike.
Because Dante is open to try new, out of the box methods to beat ass in style Vergil isnt as caring for style and is more of a traditionalist, very rigid at worst He outright rejects guns in his character entry in dmc3
First Don Diego Because it’s still the Yamato, DSD is not the rebellion anymore, it’s drastically different. I mean look at the design for Rebellion in past DMC games, it’s design has changed also.

The DSD (I supposed we can intimately call it) is a fundamental design change driven by the story. As for Yamato, though you can kinda argue its just an artistic change, consider this: It was once broken (like the rebellion), it impaled its owner (like the rebellion), and it's owner changed to something else (like the rebellion). Yet the Rebellion became DSD and Yamato remained Yamato.
First Don Diego That’s because the Rebellion was absorbed along with Sparda. DSD is literally a mix between Rebellion and Sparda. Also I don’t think the Yamato was really absorbed, Urizen used his magic to turn it into his reconstructable crystal shield.
